Will Anderson Jr. was listed as a full participant on the Houston Texans’ Week 4 injury report reviewed on October 4, 2026. That is a positive practice update, not confirmation that he will play. The Texans listed an ankle injury, with limited participation Wednesday and full participation Thursday and Friday; the report showed no game-status designation.

What the latest injury report says

The Texans’ report records Anderson’s injury as an ankle issue and shows limited participation (LP) Wednesday, followed by full participation (FP) Thursday and Friday. The NFL Week 4 report also lists him as a full participant at defensive end, but its row contains no injury or game-status entry. Houston Texans injury report · NFL injury report

On the Texans report, Anderson’s game-status field is a dash. The report legend defines “(-)” as “Not listed,” so it does not assign him a questionable, doubtful, or out designation. It also does not announce that he will play.

What “full participation” means

The Texans define full participation as “100% of a player’s normal reps.” That describes his reported practice workload, not medical clearance, confirmed game availability, or a prediction of how many snaps he will play. The participation and game-status fields are distinct; NFL policy documentation likewise describes a Practice Report and a Game Status Report separately. NFL policy documentation

What to check before the game

  • The next official Texans injury report: Check whether the team updates his participation or adds a game-status designation.
  • The game-day inactive list: This is the relevant official confirmation of whether he is available for that game.

The reports reviewed do not establish whether Anderson will play or how many snaps he might take. Because injury reports can change, this is a timestamped update—not a lasting statement about his medical status.
