Which preorder qualifies
Activision identifies a preorder of any digital edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 as eligible, including the Standard Edition and Vault Edition. Delivery beginning on October 30 does not mean every eligible account receives the item that day. The announcement describes a phased rollout scheduled to finish by November 30. Seeing no mailbox message before the end of that period is not, by itself, proof that your entitlement failed.
Step-by-step fix
1. Confirm the preorder was digital and on time
- Open the purchase history for the store account used to preorder Modern Warfare 4.
- Check that the product is identified as a digital edition.
- Check that the order was completed no later than October 23, 2026.
- Record which Activision account you intended to use with the game. If the order confirmation and your usual Activision login do not line up, resolve that identity question before troubleshooting the mailbox.

2. Link the correct Activision account in Call of Duty: Mobile
Activision’s account-linking guide gives two navigation paths. Existing players who already use a social login can open the game’s Settings, tap the control for the linked social account, choose Call of Duty, and sign in to the Call of Duty account. Players who started with a guest account can open Settings, choose Call of Duty, and then sign in.
- Launch Call of Duty: Mobile and open Settings.
- If you already have a linked social account, tap the linked-account control and choose Call of Duty. If you are using a guest account, choose Call of Duty directly.
- Sign in with the Activision/Call of Duty account that you will use for Modern Warfare 4.
- Look for the Login successful confirmation described in Activision’s guide.
The guide was published in January 2020, so labels and screen layouts may have changed. Use it as navigation context and follow the current prompts shown by your app. The important result is not a particular button position; it is that COD Mobile is linked to the same Activision account used for the Modern Warfare 4 login.

3. Log into Modern Warfare 4 on launch day
The promotion specifically directs eligible players to log into Modern Warfare 4 on launch day. Use the same Activision account you just verified in COD Mobile. If the game offers multiple profiles or account choices, do not select a different Activision identity merely because it is already saved on the device.
This step is a requirement in the announced sequence. A preorder by itself is not the complete set of instructions: the player must also enter Modern Warfare 4 as directed before checking COD Mobile for the reward.
4. Check the COD Mobile in-game mailbox
- Return to Call of Duty: Mobile after completing the Modern Warfare 4 login.
- Open the game’s in-game mailbox.
- Look for the message containing the ICR-1 “Shattered Relay” Weapon Blueprint.
- Open the message and use its redeem or collect control.
Mailbox delivery is the published redemption path. The announcement does not identify a separate website code, a retailer counter, or a physical insert that must be entered.

Use one account identity throughout
The key diagnostic question is: “Which Activision account did I use to log into Modern Warfare 4?” That exact account must be the one connected to COD Mobile. Guest accounts need an explicit link
The linking guide distinguishes an existing COD Mobile player from a guest-account player. A guest route still requires opening Settings, choosing Call of Duty, and signing in. Until that link is completed, COD Mobile is not using the Activision account needed for the promotion’s same-account check.

Use a simple decision tree
Start with the order confirmation. If it is not a digital Modern Warfare 4 edition, the published promotion does not establish eligibility. If it is digital but was completed after October 23, 2026, it misses the stated cutoff. Note the store order number or confirmation, the digital edition name, the preorder date, the Activision account used to enter Modern Warfare 4, and the account currently linked in COD Mobile. Use only the information the support form requests; never post passwords or authentication codes.
