If your XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser looks blurry, first let its autofocus finish, then check that the projector is aimed more directly at the screen and that the projected image is within XGIMI’s recommended size range. These checks address the documented focus and setup guidance; they are not a guaranteed fix. If the image stays out of focus, consult the latest electronic manual or contact XGIMI support rather than trying an unverified repair.
Start by confirming the projector model
These steps apply to the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser, model WM03R. XGIMI also has products with similar Elfin Flip names, so check the model label before following model-specific guidance.
Let autofocus complete
XGIMI lists Auto Focus as a feature and says the Elfin Flip Laser automatically adjusts image focus. Give that adjustment time to finish before judging sharpness. The product information reviewed does not provide a detailed button sequence or manual-focus menu path for this model.

Do not assume that focus instructions for the older XGIMI Elfin apply to the Elfin Flip Laser. The older model’s remote controls and settings are not established as compatible with WM03R.

Check the projector’s angle and image size
Aim it more directly at the screen
XGIMI says accurate calibration requires a side throw angle of no more than 25 degrees. If the projector is positioned obliquely, aim it more squarely at the projection surface and allow autofocus to adjust again. This placement check follows from XGIMI’s calibration guidance, but the company does not present it as a guaranteed blur fix.
Keep the projected image in the recommended range
XGIMI lists a projected image-size range of 40–200 inches and recommends 60–120 inches for the best viewing experience. The company cautions that image sizes outside its recommended range may affect projected content quality. This recommendation concerns overall image quality; it does not guarantee that changing size will correct an optical-focus problem.

Know what the resolution and throw ratio tell you
The listed standard resolution is 1920 × 1080, and the throw ratio is 1.2:1. These are product specifications, not diagnostic tests for blur. They do not establish why a particular image looks out of focus.

If autofocus and careful placement do not resolve the problem, check XGIMI’s latest electronic manual or contact the manufacturer. XGIMI notes that its electronic manual may supersede the printed manual. The product information reviewed does not establish a persistent-blur repair sequence, cleaning procedure, firmware remedy, or compatible focus replacement part, so avoid lens disassembly or assuming a reset or accessory will fix optical focus.
