Arc Games and developer Thekla, Inc. revealed the voice cast for Order of the Sinking Star on October 1, 2026, ahead of the puzzle adventure’s planned October 8 launch. Emily O’Brien voices the Queen, Liam O’Brien the Warrior, Darin De Paul the Wizard, Anjali Bhimani the Bard, Erica Luttrell the Sailor, and Matthew Waterson the Druid. Game designer Jonathan Blow also makes a special appearance.
Order of the Sinking Star voice cast and roles
The October 1 announcement identifies six performers for the game’s principal character roles. The credits listed alongside each performer below are examples named in the announcement, not roles they play in this game.

The announcement also names Erik Braa, Andrew Kishino, Jamieson K. Price, and Sabrina Fest as additional cast members, but does not specify their roles. Their characters should not be inferred from the available role list. Arc described the trailer as showcasing the game’s core heroes, “voiced by an all-star cast from across film, TV, and gaming.”
Why this cast reveal matters
Arc’s September 23 announcement said the full voice cast would be revealed closer to release. The October 1 announcement supplies that later cast information, including the six named character assignments and Blow’s special appearance.

What kind of game is Order of the Sinking Star?
Order of the Sinking Star is a narrative puzzle adventure developed by Thekla, Inc. and led by Jonathan Blow, who designed Braid and The Witness. Arc says the game opens across four distinct worlds, each with its own characters and mechanics, before progression brings the worlds together and combines their puzzle systems.
The publisher describes the game as containing more than 1,000 handcrafted puzzles and says players can explore at their own pace. These are Arc’s descriptions; they are not an independently audited puzzle count or a tested estimate of how long a playthrough takes. Its phrase “hundreds of hours” for unique gameplay is promotional wording, not a guaranteed completion time.

Planned release date and platforms
The planned release date is October 8, 2026. Official listings name PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. The official Steam community post also reports Steam Deck Verified status; Steam Deck is handheld hardware for playing the Steam version, rather than a separate game platform listing.

The same Steam community post announces a digital soundtrack and a game-plus-soundtrack bundle. The available announcements do not establish whether a physical retail edition or official merchandise will be released.
