Noble Audio’s official About page says the company is equally owned by founder John Moulton and Jim Moulton, with each holding a 50% share. Noble identifies its current business as Noble HiFi, LLC, but its public pages do not explain the precise legal relationship between that company name and the entity named in its founding history.

Who owns Noble Audio?

Noble Audio’s About page identifies John Moulton and Jim Moulton as equal owners. John founded the business; Jim became a 50% owner in April 2018. Noble’s website does not identify a parent company or another controlling owner, so the supported answer is that the brand says it is owned equally by the two Moultons.

This is Noble’s own public account, not an ownership finding independently verified against corporate filings.

How the company’s name and ownership developed

Noble’s company history says John Moulton formed Wizard Audio Industries, LLC on April 15, 2013, doing business as Noble Audio. The same history records Jim Moulton becoming a 50% owner in April 2018, and now lists both men at 50% apiece.

What to know before buying a Noble product

Custom-fit IEMs involve a different process from universal-fit headphones. Noble says customers need ear impressions, which can be obtained through a local audiologist. The company’s FAQ gives these service and policy details; policies may change, so check Noble’s current written terms before placing an order.

  • Custom build time: Noble estimates approximately 20–30 business days (four to six weeks) after its lab receives impressions. Its stated rush-build estimate is approximately six to eight business days.
  • Refits and returns: Noble describes a free refit for discomfort reported within 30 days, with shipping charges assessed. It says custom IEMs are made to order and are not returnable or exchangeable.
  • Warranty: The FAQ states a two-year warranty for universal and custom IEMs and a one-year warranty for true-wireless products, limited to defects in build quality and craftsmanship.
  • Eligible product demos: Noble describes a five-day at-home demo return period from delivery for eligible products. The customer pays return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Custom IEMs are excluded.

Noble also says most components are sourced from Germany, Japan, Canada, China, Thailand, and the United States. It says components for universal-fit headphones are sent to its Texas headquarters for final assembly, quality control, and packaging, while its true-wireless headphones are generally manufactured in China.
