Rowan Freemaker is a 12-year-old, Force-sensitive scavenger in the animated LEGO series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. When he finds the Kyber Saber, an ancient artifact, his discovery draws his family into the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. The series is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Who is Rowan Freemaker?
Rowan is the youngest of the Freemaker siblings and the central young hero of The Freemaker Adventures. His family makes a living scavenging debris from space and building or selling starships. Rowan’s connection to the Force—and his discovery of the Kyber Saber—changes the direction of their lives.
StarWars.com describes Rowan as 12 years old and identifies Nicolas Cantu as his voice actor in the series announcement. Rowan belongs to this animated LEGO story; he is not a protagonist of the live-action Star Wars films or the main saga films.

The Freemakers’ work brings them into contact with the Kyber Saber, an ancient artifact that Rowan discovers. His Force sensitivity makes the find more than another piece of salvage: it draws the family into the larger struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire. The story follows Rowan and his siblings as they navigate that danger while continuing to build and fly ships.

Lucasfilm’s series page attributes this line to Rowan: “Never tell me the odds! Mostly because I don’t understand how they work…”
When does the series take place?
The Freemaker Adventures is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. That places Rowan’s story in the original trilogy era, alongside the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, while keeping it distinct from the main saga films.

Lucasfilm’s official series page currently says “Stream now on Disney+.” That is the listing on the official page; streaming availability can vary by country, so check the Disney+ catalog for your location.

LEGO set featuring Rowan
For a LEGO set that specifically lists Rowan as an included figure, look for LEGO Star Wars Tracker I 75185. LEGO’s official page marks it retired and lists Rowan, Emperor Palpatine, and the M-OC Hunter Droid, along with a buildable probe droid. The set is specified as 557 pieces for ages 8–14. Those are the product-page specifications, not a statement about current stock; check any listing’s contents and condition, particularly for a retired set.

Another Freemaker set
The retired LEGO Star Wars Arrowhead 75186 is also tied to the series, but LEGO’s listed figures are Zander, Kordi, Quarrie, a Stormtrooper, and R0-GR—not Rowan. It is a Freemaker set, but not the direct choice if your priority is Rowan’s minifigure.
Season 1 discs
StarWars.com announced a Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD release with all 13 episodes and bonus features, dated December 6, 2016. LEGO’s retired product page describes a Region 1, two-disc DVD box set with the 13 first-season episodes, extras, and six magnets. These are historical product details, not evidence of current availability. For any present listing, verify the format, region compatibility, condition, and stock.
