Is Beni Rae Harmony replacing Karoline Leavitt?
No. The reports identify Harmony’s appointment as an assistant press secretary role, not as White House press secretary. Hindustan Times reported that Leavitt left the top press secretary job at the end of August and that the position remained open while the administration continued its search. Harmony’s appointment should not be described as filling that vacancy.
