As of 4 October 2026, the Samsung phone with the largest listed internal-storage option in the current Galaxy S26 range is the Galaxy S26 Ultra with 1TB. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are listed up to 512GB in Samsung’s UK lineup announcement. The 1TB figure is nominal capacity, not a promise of 1TB free for your files.
Which Samsung phone has the most storage?
The Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB is the highest-capacity option documented in Samsung’s current Galaxy S26 lineup as of 4 October 2026. Samsung’s UK announcement lists the Ultra in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB configurations, with 16GB memory paired with the 1TB tier. Its lineup table lists the standard S26 and S26+ only in 256GB and 512GB configurations. Samsung’s US buy page also lists a 1TB Ultra option.
These are Samsung-listed configurations, not a guarantee that every carrier or retailer stocks every tier. Confirm the exact model and storage option on the Samsung or carrier listing for your country.
How much space do you actually get?
1TB is the phone’s nominal internal-storage capacity. System software and preloaded content use some of it, so usable space is lower and can vary by device configuration. Samsung lists 984.0GB available for one UK business Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB SKU; that figure applies to that particular listing, not necessarily to every region or variant. Samsung’s UK announcement notes that actual available storage depends on preloaded software, while the UK business specification page gives the SKU-specific available-space figure.

The S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra tiers above come from Samsung’s UK S26 lineup announcement. The S25 Ultra tiers are from Samsung Electronics America’s 2025 US business specification sheet. The S25 Ultra also reached 1TB, so the S26 Ultra matches that documented maximum rather than increasing it.

The top tier is most useful when you expect to keep a large amount of content on the phone itself. Consider how you use your device before paying for more capacity:

- Check the price and stock for your region before deciding. The cited official pages establish listed configurations, but prices and inventory can change and vary by market, retailer, and carrier.
Does the Galaxy S26 Ultra support a microSD card?
The cited Samsung S26 sources do not establish microSD support for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, so do not assume that a card can expand its internal storage. Samsung’s older 2020 mobile product portfolio describes microSD expansion for a legacy phone, but that historical capability does not confirm support on this current flagship.
If you need more room, transferring files to a computer or using a cloud service may be alternatives, but neither adds internal phone storage. Check the specific service or device instructions for compatibility and terms.

- Confirm the model name and the selected storage tier; do not rely on the product family name alone.
- Check that the listing matches your preferred carrier or unlocked status, color, price, and delivery availability.
- Compare the stated capacity with any available-space information, remembering that usable space can be less than the nominal tier.
Samsung’s UK announcement gave 25 February 2026 as the preorder start and 11 March 2026 as the availability date. Those are launch dates, not an indication of current stock. Samsung notes that storage options and availability can vary by carrier; its US purchase page lists the 1TB option, but local listings remain the place to verify current availability.
