For an Arena-first roster, the October 2026 launch-meta S-tier shortlist is Meteofly, Gambir, Charigon, Floragon, Rainbowdeer, and Zaphound. That is BlueStacks’ editorial ranking, not an official in-game rating or a guarantee that the same Lumi is best for every team. Story usefulness can differ: type matchups, team roles, and skill costs matter as much as a tier label. The rankings below reflect third-party lists available through October 7, 2026, and may shift with balance or seasonal updates.
How to read this Lumi Master tier list
This ranking is for players deciding whom to build, with Arena strength as the primary lens and story usefulness as a separate consideration. Loadoutgg says its Arena-oriented method weighs signature-skill power and cost, traits, swappable skills, top-end stats, and type vulnerabilities, then considers story and harder modes. Its tiers describe practical roles: S-tier Lumis can anchor teams or win fights on their own; A-tier Lumis have a clear limitation; B-tier Lumis can fill a job in the right team.
These are editorial evaluations, not official ratings or the result of independent in-game testing. The lists also differ because their criteria differ. BlueStacks’ launch-meta list places six Lumis in S tier, while Mobi.gg’s September 22, 2026 list uses broader role and element considerations, including household role, and includes different S-tier choices such as Clionia, Cyclodoge, Dullahan, Lycanite Variant, and Otterknight.

Which Lumis are strongest for Arena?
S tier: team anchors and high-impact picks
BlueStacks’ launch-meta guidance names Meteofly, Gambir, Charigon, Floragon, Rainbowdeer, and Zaphound as S tier. Treat this as a useful shortlist rather than a settled consensus: the game’s early meta is changing, and other lists select different top-tier Lumis.

Loadoutgg’s October 2026 list, based on version 1.5.3 launch numbers, illustrates why placements can move. It says Floragon and Charigon rose from A to S on September 23 after Arena results and winning-team usage supported the change. Xuan Wu and Zhu Que also moved up. Jolkat fell from S to A after Zaphound proved stronger at using the paralysis setup. These shifts show that an individual Lumi’s value can depend on team composition and the opponents it faces.
A and B tier: useful when the role fits
Do not treat A or B as instructions to ignore a Lumi. Loadoutgg defines A-tier picks as having a clear limitation and B-tier picks as capable of doing a job in the right team. A specialist who covers a weakness, enables a status strategy, or answers a common matchup may contribute more to your roster than a nominally higher-tier Lumi that does not fit your available skills or team.

Are the best Arena Lumis also best for story?
Not necessarily. Arena rankings emphasize performance against other players and team setups; story progression asks whether a Lumi’s strengths fit the encounters and team you can field. A strong Arena pick may still be useful in story, but its tier alone does not establish that it is the best choice for every stage. Evaluate matchups, role coverage, and skill costs for the mode you are playing.
Type interactions and status effects can change the value of a pick. Loadoutgg says Xuan Wu resists Fire damage and removes Burn. It also notes that Zhu Que’s Sacred Fire clears Leech and Paralysis effects used by Floragon, Thornbloom, and Zaphound. Those are concrete reasons a roster may benefit from an answer to a particular threat even if that Lumi is not the most prominent name on a general tier list.

What to check before investing in a Lumi
- Mode: Decide whether Arena, story, or a harder mode is your immediate priority; do not assume one ranking answers all three.
- Team role and synergy: Check what the Lumi contributes to the team and whether your other picks can make use of it.
- Signature skill: Compare its effect and power with its cost; a powerful effect is less useful if it is difficult to deploy in your team.
- Trait and swappable skills: Consider the trait and the skills you can actually equip, rather than judging from the name or tier alone.
- Stats and weaknesses: Look at top-end stats and vulnerabilities, including types that can deal double damage.
- Your roster: A conditional role player may solve a real gap for you. A higher tier does not make every other choice a poor investment.
Why 2026 tier lists may disagree
The Lumi Master roster and meta are still moving. The Google Play listing describes seasonal updates and weekly activities, and was updated September 10, 2026. The available roster counts also conflict: LumiMaster.org reported 246 Lumis and 17 elemental types in an editorial review dated October 5, 2026; Loadoutgg’s October list refers to 256 Lumi using version 1.5.3 launch numbers; BlueStacks described more than 250 Lumis at the September 17, 2026 worldwide launch. These are source- and date-specific figures, not a single confirmed current count.
For context, the Google Play listing describes Lumi Master as a free creature-collecting adventure with catching, training, evolving, trading, and home decorating, with Android and Windows availability named on the listing. Its seasonal cadence is another reason to date any tier list and revisit it after major updates.
