In the US, you do not need to spend close to $3,000 to get a well-equipped 75-inch TV. The exact-size models with verified prices here were listed at $1,299.99 and $1,499.99 on TCL’s product pages when accessed October 7, 2026. Those are live-page snapshots, not guaranteed retail or sale prices. The Samsung option below was announced at $1,999.99; LG’s page identifies a 75-inch model but does not state a price.
There is no evidence here for a definitive head-to-head winner across the market. Use the shortlist as a starting point, then match the model to your room, viewing habits, and current delivered price.
75-inch TVs around $3,000: the shortlist
| Model | Price information | What is established | Best reason to consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| TCL 75QM7K | $1,299.99 listed on TCL’s US product page when accessed October 7, 2026; price may change. TCL product page | 4K QD-Mini LED QLED smart TV with Google TV; TCL states up to 2,000+ local-dimming zones. Tom’s Guide lists 144Hz and two HDMI 2.1 ports for its QM7K entry and reports positive brightness and color, along with viewing-angle, bright-room, and audio drawbacks. | A lower-cost exact 75-inch option with gaming features, if its review-reported tradeoffs suit your room. |
| TCL 75QM8K | $1,499.99 listed on TCL’s US product page when accessed October 7, 2026; price may change. TCL product page | 4K QD-Mini LED QLED; TCL states up to 5,000+ local-dimming zones. TechRadar describes it as bright, with refined contrast and gaming features, but prefers the QM7K for value within TCL’s lineup. | A step-up TCL candidate; do not treat its zone count alone as proof of better picture quality. |
| Samsung 75-inch-class QN80H | $1,999.99 announced by Samsung Electronics America on March 24, 2026. Confirm current price, stock, and exact listing. Samsung announcement | 2026 Neo QLED 4K TV using Quantum Mini LEDs and quantum dots, according to Samsung. | A current-generation Samsung comparison candidate, but the information here is not enough to rank it against the TCL models. |
| LG 75QNED75BAA | Price not stated on the LG page. LG product page | LG identifies it as a 2026 75-inch QNED75B 4K smart TV and lists Mini LED, an a7 AI Processor 4K Gen9, and Precision HDR Master Pro. | Worth checking if you are considering LG, once you have verified its current price and independent test results. |
Manufacturer pages establish product identity and stated specifications, not comparative picture quality. The listed prices are not a promise of what a retailer will charge. Check the exact 75-inch version, delivered price, availability, and return terms before deciding.
Which one fits your room and how you watch?
For a tighter budget: TCL 75QM7K
The QM7K is the lowest-priced exact 75-inch candidate with a verified price in this shortlist. TCL describes it as a 4K QD-Mini LED QLED model with Google TV and claims up to 2,000+ local-dimming zones. That specification is not a substitute for a measured comparison.
#1 Best Overall
- 4K Ultra HD (2160p resolution): Enjoy breathtaking HDR10 4K movies and TV shows at 4 times the resolution of Full HD, and upscale your current content to Ultra HD-level picture quality.

- Access thousands of shows with Fire TV: Watch over 1 million streaming movies and TV episodes with access to thousands of channels, apps and Alexa skills, including Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, YouTube, Apple TV+, Disney+, ESPN+, Sling TV, Paramount+, and other services right from this TV.*
- DTS Virtual-X Sound: An immersive sound format creates a three-dimensional sound experience with your TV’s speakers.
Tom’s Guide reports impressive HDR brightness and good SDR/HDR color on its reviewed QM7K, but also flags off-angle and bright-room viewing issues. It lists 144Hz and two HDMI 2.1 ports, and criticizes the built-in audio. These are that publication’s findings for its reviewed model, not guarantees about every viewing environment or unit. If you sit spread across a wide room or watch in strong daylight, seek independent findings on viewing angles and reflections before buying. For gaming, verify that the ports and modes support your specific console or PC. If the TV’s speakers are not adequate for your room, account for a soundbar only after checking connectivity and the remaining budget.
For a higher-tier TCL: TCL 75QM8K
The QM8K was listed $200 above the QM7K on TCL’s pages at the October 7, 2026 access point. TCL’s stated local-dimming figure is up to 5,000+ zones, compared with up to 2,000+ for the QM7K. More zones on a specification sheet do not by themselves establish superior contrast, reduced blooming, or overall image quality.

- SUPREME MINI LED DIMMING: delivers deep contrast and bright highlights for a truly superb picture.*
TechRadar describes the QM8K as bright, with refined contrast and gaming features, while saying it prefers the QM7K for value within TCL’s lineup. That makes the price difference a decision to verify against independent testing and the current retailer price—not an automatic reason to choose the more expensive set.
For a Samsung comparison: Samsung 75-inch-class QN80H
Samsung’s March 24, 2026 US announcement gives the 75-inch-class QN80H a price of $1,999.99 and describes it as Neo QLED 4K using Quantum Mini LEDs and quantum dots. This is an announced price, not confirmation of today’s retail price or stock. The available information does not establish its full specifications or independent performance against the TCL candidates, so check those before treating it as a recommendation.

For an LG comparison: LG 75QNED75BAA
LG’s product page identifies the 75QNED75BAA as a 2026 75-inch QNED75B 4K smart TV and lists Mini LED, an a7 AI Processor 4K Gen9, and Precision HDR Master Pro. The page information cited here does not state a price, and the available evidence does not provide independent test results. Compare its current price and reviews before shortlisting it on performance grounds.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to check before you spend the budget
- Today’s total price: Compare delivered prices for the exact 75-inch model, not an old list or launch price. Check stock, delivery charges, and return terms.
- Room light and seating: For a bright room, look for independent findings on peak brightness and reflection handling. For seats spread to the sides, check viewing-angle performance. “Mini LED” and a dimming-zone count do not answer either question on their own.
- Movies and contrast: Look for independent assessment of dark-room black levels, blooming, and supported HDR formats. A manufacturer’s feature list cannot establish how the set performs in a scene.
- Sports and motion: Verify the native refresh rate and motion handling for the exact model and size. Do not assume every size in a series has identical specifications.
- Gaming: Check HDMI 2.1 port count, supported refresh rates, variable refresh rate, input lag, and which ports support the modes you plan to use. The QM7K’s 144Hz and two HDMI 2.1 ports are specifications listed by Tom’s Guide; confirm the full port behavior for your setup.
- Smart TV and audio: Confirm that the platform has the apps you use and decide whether built-in sound will work in your room. If adding a soundbar, verify its connections and include its cost in your total.
- Exact size: This shortlist is for exact 75-inch candidates. A 77-inch-class OLED is a nearby-size alternative, not a 75-inch match; compare it separately if you can accommodate the larger screen.
Is a $3,000 budget necessary for a 75-inch TV?
Not based on these listed candidates: the TCL models were priced well below that ceiling on their US product pages when accessed October 7, 2026, and Samsung announced a sub-$2,000 price for its 75-inch-class QN80H. But price alone does not identify the right TV. The evidence available here does not establish a comprehensive ranking of all eligible sets or a universal winner, and LG’s cited page does not supply a price. Decide by room conditions, required gaming support, independent performance findings, and the price you can actually buy at.
