Short answer: The Tasaca T500-V58 has the strongest published performance figures, the ENGWE Eagle offers the largest published battery by voltage-and-capacity combination after it, and the Buffseek R01 is the lighter-duty, lower-speed choice with a beginner-oriented fit message. Those are manufacturer specifications, not results from a matched independent test. The “$1,500” label describes a shopping category: the sellers displayed different prices and stock signals, so confirm the exact variant and delivered cost before paying.
At a glance: what each bike is really offering
All three models are compact electric dirt bikes with 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels. Their published specifications point to different priorities rather than a clean first-, second-, and third-place ranking. Tasaca publishes the largest peak output, torque, and claimed top speed. ENGWE combines a high-output motor with a large 52-volt battery and a relatively broad rider-height recommendation. Buffseek publishes the lowest claimed speed and torque, but gives a clear seat-height figure and positions the R01 toward teens and beginners.
| Published measure | ENGWE Eagle | Buffseek R01 | Tasaca T500-V58 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak motor power | 3,200 W | 3,500 W; 1,500 W rated | 5,500 W |
| Torque | 220 N·m | 146 N·m | 276 N·m |
| Claimed top speed | 45 mph | 38 mph | 52 mph |
| Battery | 52 V, 27 Ah | 48 V, 23 Ah | 52 V, 30 Ah |
| Claimed maximum range | 55 miles | 37 miles | 55 miles |
| Wheel size | 14 in front / 12 in rear | 14 in front / 12 in rear | 14 in front / 12 in rear |
| Published weight or fit detail | 48 kg; suggested rider height 4.2–5.9 ft; 120 kg payload | 30.7-in seat height; teen/beginner positioning | 129.61 lb; suitable height 4.2–6.2 ft; 331 lb maximum load |
| Price and stock signal when checked | $999; page showed both unavailable and in-stock labels | $1,099; sold out | $1,199 lowest price in the variant comparison |
Every number in the table is a manufacturer-published specification or a product-page price and availability signal. None demonstrates how the bikes perform against one another under the same rider, terrain, speed profile, tire pressure, or battery cutoff.

Before treating a low headline price as the final deal, identify the exact configuration. Ask the seller to confirm the battery version, included charger, freight or oversize shipping charge, taxes, assembly requirement, return window, warranty coverage, and whether replacement parts are available for that configuration. A price shown for one variant may not apply to the color, battery, or region you select.
How the published power figures should be read
Peak versus rated power
Peak wattage describes a maximum the manufacturer says the electrical system can reach, often during acceleration or a high-load event. It does not establish sustained output, thermal behavior, controller limits, or how long the motor can hold that level. Buffseek is the only one of the three that also publishes a rated figure; its lower continuous rating should not be compared directly with another brand’s peak number.
Torque figures have the same limitation. They may refer to motor-shaft torque, a calculated value, or a peak at a particular operating point. Without a shared measurement method, the numbers are useful for understanding each seller’s positioning, not for predicting a precise hill-climb result.

What the hierarchy suggests
- Tasaca’s published figures put it at the top for peak output and torque, with the highest claimed speed. That makes it the performance-first candidate on paper, not a verified race winner.
- ENGWE’s figures place it between the other two on published peak power and torque while pairing that output with a 52-volt, 27-Ah battery.
- Buffseek publishes a lower claimed speed and torque and emphasizes a rated motor figure, seat height, and beginner-oriented positioning.
Actual acceleration and control will also depend on controller programming, rider mass, tire choice, traction, suspension setup, and terrain. None of those variables is standardized across the product pages.
Battery capacity, range, and riding time
Use watt-hours for a fairer capacity comparison
Voltage multiplied by amp-hours gives a nominal energy estimate: approximately 1,404 Wh for the ENGWE battery, 1,104 Wh for Buffseek, and 1,560 Wh for Tasaca. These are arithmetic estimates from the published labels, not promises of usable energy. Controller cutoffs, temperature, battery age, charging limits, and reserve settings reduce what a rider can draw on the trail.

Tasaca therefore publishes the largest nominal pack, while ENGWE’s pack is next and Buffseek’s is smaller. That does not by itself prove longer rides: a higher-power bike can consume energy faster, and a manufacturer may use a different range test.
Why the range claims are not apples to apples
ENGWE states that its maximum range and five- to six-hour riding duration are achieved under ideal test conditions and that actual results vary with riding conditions and rider behavior. Buffseek and Tasaca also publish maximum-range figures, but the pages do not establish a common rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, wind, tire pressure, or low-voltage cutoff. Treat all three ranges as seller claims.

A rider who spends most of a ride at high speed, climbs continuously, carries cargo, or rides in soft ground should expect substantially less distance than a low-load, steady-speed test. If your route has no charging point, ask the seller for a conservative estimate at your intended speed rather than relying on the headline maximum.
Fit, weight, and the compact-wheel trade-off
ENGWE Eagle
ENGWE lists a suggested rider-height span from 4.2 to 5.9 feet, a 120-kg payload, and a 48-kg bike weight. That guidance covers a wide range, but it is still a manufacturer recommendation rather than an independent fit assessment. Confirm reach to the bars, stand-over clearance, control position, and whether the published payload includes luggage.
Buffseek R01
Buffseek publishes a 30.7-inch seat height and describes the R01 for teens and beginners. Seat height is more actionable than a broad height range, but inseam length matters more than overall height. A prospective rider should be able to place both feet securely enough for the intended terrain and operate the controls without stretching.

Tasaca T500-V58
Tasaca lists a suitable-height range from 4.2 to 6.2 feet, a 331-lb maximum load, and a 129.61-lb bike weight. The larger load allowance does not mean every rider will find the chassis comfortable or controllable. Verify the actual seat, bar, and peg dimensions before choosing it for a shorter rider.

What the shared wheel size means
With 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels on all three, these bikes are compact compared with full-size motorcycles. Smaller wheels can feel nimble and keep the seat area approachable, but they generally require more attention to line choice over deep ruts, sharp edges, and loose rocks. The wheel-size match removes one obvious differentiator; tire construction, tread, pressure range, suspension travel, and wheel strength still need confirmation from the seller.
Brakes, suspension, and hardware questions to ask
The available product information does not provide a verified, side-by-side specification for brake type, rotor diameter, suspension travel, fork or shock adjustability, axle hardware, lighting equipment, or tire load rating. Those omissions matter more than a small difference in advertised peak power when you ride steep, uneven, or wet terrain.
Request the following details in writing for the exact variant:
- Front and rear brake type, rotor size, pad availability, and whether the levers have a motor cut-off.
- Fork and rear-shock travel, spring rate or preload adjustment, and replacement-seal availability.
- Tire size, tube or tubeless construction, recommended pressure range, and a source for replacement tires.
- Frame and swingarm warranty coverage, axle and bearing specifications, and the torque values needed for assembly.
- Whether the bike includes a headlight, brake light, horn, display, chain guard, or other equipment required for your riding area.
If a seller cannot provide these basics, treat that as an ownership risk regardless of the headline specification.

Price, inventory, and ownership support
The captured product pages showed three different commercial situations: one displayed a low price but contradictory availability labels, one showed a higher price while sold out, and one listed a lowest variant price. These signals are not a guarantee that the same offers remain available. Check stock at checkout, not only on a landing page, and save the order page showing the selected battery and accessories.
Warranty and parts support deserve equal attention. Buffseek’s product page says “Replacement Parts Available Support for long-term ownership,” but that statement does not specify which components are stocked, for how long, or how claims are handled. Ask all three sellers for the warranty period, who pays return freight, whether diagnostic labor is covered, and the expected delivery time for controllers, displays, batteries, brake parts, wheels, and body panels.
Also confirm assembly responsibilities. A bike that arrives with the handlebar, front wheel, controls, or suspension disconnected may require torque checks and adjustments before the first ride. Clarify whether a local service center is available and whether using one affects warranty coverage.

Choose the Tasaca on paper if maximum published performance is your priority
Tasaca is the logical starting point for a rider who values the highest claimed peak output, torque, and speed and who can handle the bike’s greater published weight. Its larger nominal battery and higher load allowance are also attractive for longer rides or heavier riders. That conclusion is based only on the seller’s specifications; it is not evidence that the bike is faster, safer, or more durable in an independent test.

Choose the ENGWE if you want a balanced specification set
ENGWE presents a middle position in the published output figures while offering a substantial 52-volt battery, a broad stated rider-height range, and a 120-kg payload. It may suit a buyer who wants more battery capacity than the Buffseek specification provides without selecting the highest-output option on paper.
The contradictory availability labels make a current stock check especially important. Confirm whether the displayed configuration is actually orderable and whether the price changes after selecting a battery, color, or shipping destination.
Choose the Buffseek if approachable fit and lower claimed speed matter most
Buffseek’s 30.7-inch seat-height figure and teen/beginner positioning give it the clearest fit cue for a newer or smaller rider. Its lower claimed speed may be easier to manage in confined private areas, although speed is ultimately controlled by the rider, terrain, and settings.
The trade-off is less published battery capacity and lower torque than the other two. Because the page showed the model as sold out when checked, obtain a firm restock date and warranty terms before planning around it.
A practical buying process
- Define the use case. Write down rider height, inseam, weight with gear, typical terrain, desired ride duration, and whether the bike will stay on private land.
- Shortlist by fit first. Compare the stated height or seat guidance with the rider’s inseam and reach. Do not use payload capacity as a substitute for ergonomic fit.
- Compare energy, not just amp-hours. Convert each battery label to nominal watt-hours, then ask for a realistic range estimate at your speed and terrain.
- Request missing hardware specifications. Get brake, suspension, tire, lighting, charger, and axle details for the exact variant in writing.
- Check the delivered total. Add shipping, tax, assembly, accessories, and any deposit. Make sure the advertised price is not limited to an unavailable variant.
- Confirm support before payment. Ask about warranty claims, replacement batteries, crash-damaged parts, return freight, and service documentation.
- Verify local rules. Road legality, age limits, protective-equipment requirements, and where electric dirt bikes may be ridden depend on jurisdiction. Check the relevant local authority before riding off private property.
- Inspect on arrival. Photograph the package, verify the frame and battery labels, check connectors and fasteners, charge with the supplied charger, and test the brakes and controls at walking speed before attempting off-road riding.
Safety and operating limits
These are high-output off-road machines, not ordinary low-speed bicycles. Wear a properly fitted helmet, eye protection, gloves, long sleeves, sturdy boots, and protective clothing appropriate to the terrain. Keep the first rides on a controlled private area, use a spotter when learning, and increase speed only after confirming braking distance and traction.
Never infer road approval from the presence of lights or a speedometer. Registration, insurance, equipment, and age rules vary by location, and no single rule applies to every rider or model. Follow the seller’s charging instructions, keep the battery dry and undamaged, and stop using it if the pack is swollen, hot, leaking, or physically compromised.
Bottom line
On published specifications alone, Tasaca is the performance leader, ENGWE is the balanced high-capacity option, and Buffseek is the most explicitly beginner-oriented choice. The figures are not a controlled comparison, and the prices and inventory signals are temporary. Choose only after matching the bike to the rider’s fit and terrain, confirming brake and suspension hardware, and getting current delivered pricing, warranty, parts, and legal-use information from the seller.
