Where you can watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden depends on your country, the service’s current license, and whether you need the complete run or a particular dub. The Naruto official site maintains a regional streaming directory, but it warns that supported services vary by residence. Use that directory as a starting point, then verify the title, episode range, and language tracks inside your local service before subscribing.
As checked on October 13, 2026, official listings showed both series in Hulu’s catalog search, both series on Netflix Canada’s Naruto page, and an official Naruto Shippuden listing on Crunchyroll. Those are documented examples, not a worldwide availability guarantee. VIZ also lists Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray releases, including Part 11, for viewers who prefer physical media.

Start with your country, not the app name
Streaming rights are negotiated territory by territory. A service can carry Naruto in one country while offering only Shippuden, a different dub, or no Naruto title at all elsewhere. Even within one country, a listing can change when a license expires or a catalog is reorganized.
“Available streaming services vary depending on your region of residence. Please be sure to check which options are supported where you live.”
#1 Best Overall
That statement appears in the Naruto official streaming directory. Enter your residence there first, note the services it identifies, and then search each service directly while signed in from that country. A search result from another territory is not evidence that the same episodes are licensed where you live.
Know which series you are trying to watch
Naruto (the original series)
Naruto is the first television series, following Naruto Uzumaki and his classmates during their early ninja training. Services may display it simply as “Naruto,” sometimes with season numbers that differ between platforms. Confirm that the result is the television series rather than a movie, compilation, or related franchise title.
Naruto Shippuden
Naruto Shippuden is the follow-up series set after the characters’ time skip. It has its own listing and episode numbering. Finding Naruto does not prove that Shippuden is included, and finding Shippuden does not prove that the original series is available. Search for each title separately.
Films and related series
Catalog pages can group the two main series with Naruto films, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, or other franchise programs. These additions do not substitute for either television run. Read the title and episode or season information on the individual detail page.

Official availability examples recorded on October 13, 2026
The following examples come from official catalog pages and illustrate how to interpret a listing. They should be rechecked immediately before you pay because streaming catalogs and language rights can change.
| Service or format | What the official listing showed | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Hulu | Hulu’s catalog search results listed both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. | The captured evidence does not establish that every episode, every season, or every language version is available. It also does not establish availability outside Hulu’s supported market or the current plan terms. |
| Netflix Canada | Netflix Canada’s official Naruto page listed Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and several Naruto franchise movies. | This is a Canada-specific result. It cannot be generalized to Netflix in another country, and the page itself should be checked for the current season and episode range. |
| Crunchyroll | An official Naruto Shippuden page surfaced Japanese audio and subtitles in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, and Arabic. | Regional rights and dub availability vary. The captured listing does not verify a universal English dub or identical language choices in every country. |
| VIZ Blu-ray | VIZ’s catalog listed official Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray releases, including Part 11, along with other Naruto releases. | Part 11 is one release, not proof that a single set contains the complete series. Exact discs, episode numbers, and region compatibility must be confirmed before purchase. |
How to verify a streaming listing before subscribing
- Select your residence. Use the Naruto official regional directory and choose the country in which you will watch. If you travel, check the country where the account will actually be used.
- Search both names. Run separate searches for “Naruto” and “Naruto Shippuden.” Open the television-series result rather than a movie, a clip collection, or Boruto.
- Open the season or episode selector. Record the first and last available episode, season labels, and any visible gaps. A title card alone proves only that some entry exists.
- Inspect audio and subtitles. Look for Japanese audio, an English dub if required, and your preferred subtitle language. Availability can differ by season, device, profile, and country.
- Check playback access. Determine whether the title requires a paid plan, an add-on, an account in a particular territory, or a separate purchase. Do not infer current pricing from an old screenshot or a search snippet.
- Test the first episode. Start playback and open the audio/subtitle menu. This catches cases where a language is advertised on a general service page but absent from the specific episode.
- Save the date of your check. Record the country and date, since rights and plan displays can change quickly.
Checking whether you have the complete run
“Naruto” and “Naruto Shippuden” are long-running series, and services do not always present their catalogs in the same way. One platform may use seasons, another may use numbered parts, and a third may list a single continuous episode count. Compare the actual episode selector rather than relying on a season total shown in a search engine.
- Scroll to the final available season or episode and note its number.
- Check whether the detail page says “all episodes,” “latest season,” or uses another limited description.
- Look for separate entries with the same title but different audio or regional rights.
- Confirm that specials or films are not being counted as television episodes.
If a service shows only part of the run, you may need a second service or physical release. Do not assume that a missing season is temporarily hidden; ask the service’s current support channel or catalog page.

Japanese audio
The Crunchyroll Naruto Shippuden listing captured for this guide included Japanese audio. That is useful evidence for viewers who want the original track, but the setting still needs to be verified in your local account because regional rights can differ.
Rank #3
English dub
A series listing does not prove that an English dub is included. Open an episode’s audio menu and look for English before paying. The documented Crunchyroll result does not establish a universal English dub, and the Hulu and Netflix examples do not establish their complete language offerings.
Subtitles
The Crunchyroll listing showed subtitles in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, and Arabic. Treat that as a listing-specific example, not a promise that every language is offered in every territory or on every episode. Subtitle availability can also differ between the original series and Shippuden.
Is Naruto Shippuden on Netflix?
Netflix Canada’s official Naruto page listed Naruto Shippuden when checked on October 13, 2026. The same page also listed the original Naruto series, Boruto, and several films. This answers the question for that Canadian catalog at that time; it does not establish availability on Netflix in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, or any other territory. Open Netflix while signed in from your own country and search for the exact series.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWatching through Hulu
Hulu’s official catalog search displayed both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in the captured check. The available evidence does not confirm that Hulu carries every episode, every season, or every dub and subtitle track. Hulu’s supported-market rules and plan information also change, so check the current local catalog and playback options rather than relying on an archived listing.
Rank #4
Watching through Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll had an official Naruto Shippuden listing with Japanese audio and the subtitle languages noted above. Before subscribing, verify that the page is accessible from your country, that the episodes you need are present, and that the desired dub is offered. A Japanese-audio listing is not automatically an English-dub listing.
Prefer to own the episodes?
VIZ’s official catalog lists Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray releases, including Part 11, as well as other Naruto releases. Physical media avoids future streaming-license changes, but it requires more checking at checkout:
- Read the set description to identify the exact episode numbers and discs included.
- Do not treat “Part 11” or another part number as the complete series.
- Confirm that your player supports the disc’s region code.
- Check whether the set contains Japanese audio, an English dub, subtitles, or a combination.
- Verify that the retailer is selling an authorized release and that the packaging matches the catalog description.
VIZ’s listing establishes that official Blu-ray editions exist; it does not establish the contents of every retailer’s inventory or the compatibility of a particular disc with your player.
Choosing the most practical option
| Your priority | Best checking path | Decision point |
|---|---|---|
| Watch both television series online | Use the Naruto regional directory, then search both titles on each locally supported service. | Choose a service only after confirming both episode ranges. |
| Watch in Japanese | Open the episode audio menu on a local listing such as the documented Crunchyroll Shippuden page. | Confirm Japanese audio on the episodes you intend to watch. |
| Watch an English dub | Inspect the per-episode audio selector rather than the franchise page. | Do not subscribe until English is explicitly selectable. |
| Use subtitles in a specific language | Check the subtitle menu while playback is running. | Verify the language for both Naruto and Shippuden. |
| Keep access independent of streaming licenses | Compare the exact VIZ Blu-ray set contents and disc region. | Buy only when the set covers the episodes you need and works in your player. |
Common problems and fixes
“The title appears in search, but I cannot play it.”
Search results can be cached, region-limited, or tied to a different account location. Open the title while signed in, confirm your profile country, and use the service’s own availability message. If the service says the title is unavailable, the search result is not a playable license.
Best Value
“I found Naruto, but not Shippuden.”
Search the two names independently and consult the regional directory for another supported service. The original series and its sequel are separate catalog entries.
“The page lists subtitles, but my episode does not.”
Start playback, open the subtitle menu, and test another episode. Language rights can vary by episode, season, and territory; a general franchise page is not sufficient proof.
“The Blu-ray set does not play.”
Check the disc-region marking and your player’s compatibility. Then compare the disc label with the set description to ensure you purchased the intended release rather than an import for another region.
What to check on the day you subscribe or buy
- Your country or territory is correctly represented in the service account.
- Both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden appear as television series, if you want both.
- The final episode or season you need is listed.
- Japanese audio, English dubbing, and subtitles are explicitly available in the episode player.
- The required subscription, add-on, or purchase is identified before payment.
- For Blu-ray, the exact set contents and disc region match your equipment.
Because catalogs change quickly, treat every availability statement as time- and country-specific. The official Naruto directory and the service’s own local title page are the authoritative places to recheck before committing money.
