There is no confirmed single subscription service with all 12 theatrical Friday the 13th films. Streaming rights vary by title and change over time, so check each movie before starting a marathon. As of October 3, 2026, the original 1980 film has several listed subscription options and a free, ad-supported option on Tubi; that snapshot does not establish where every sequel is available.
Which Friday the 13th movies are included?
The 12-film theatrical scope runs from the 1980 original through the 2009 reboot/reimagining. The reboot is not a direct continuation of the earlier story. Availability should be checked against each exact title and release year.

The mismatch between the eight films in Paramount’s 2024 guide and JustWatch’s later count of seven on Paramount+ tiers is a reason to verify title pages rather than treating either number as a live, complete catalog. JustWatch’s totals also cover only the 11 titles in its franchise list, not the 12-film theatrical scope.
Where can you rent or buy films that are missing?
Digital storefronts can fill gaps when a film is not included with a subscription. Listings identify Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, and Fandango At Home as options for some later titles; the original is also listed for rental or purchase through digital storefronts. These are title-specific routes, not a promise that every film is available through every store.
- Search by the exact film title and year, especially for the two movies titled Friday the 13th.
- Check whether the listing is for a rental or purchase, and review the price, video quality, and viewing terms shown for that title.
- Confirm that the selected listing is the intended film rather than another installment.
Can you watch Jason X for free or through a library?
A late-July 2026 guide identified YouTube Free, Tubi, and Kanopy as options for Jason X at that time. Kanopy access depends on a participating library or educational institution. Treat these as dated leads: check the current title listing and, for Kanopy, whether your library or school provides access.

For a one-time marathon, combine whatever subscriptions currently include the films with title-by-title free, library, rental, or purchase options for the gaps. If you want a repeatable collection that is less dependent on streaming rotations, a complete Blu-ray collection is another route. An August 2026 guide identifies a collection covering the films through the 2009 remake; check the edition’s disc list and current seller inventory before buying.
