At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), use the ramp for a brief passenger pickup or drop-off and the car park for a longer stop or while you travel. For a private car, the airport’s posted standard tariff is ₹150 for up to 30 minutes and ₹750 for 24 hours; valet is separately priced. Check the live airport parking tariff before setting out because RGIA does not give the displayed rates an effective date.
Choose the parking option by what you need to do
- Picking up or dropping off a passenger: Use the ramp and keep the stop within its time limit. Do not leave the vehicle unattended at the terminal kerb.
- Leaving a car during a trip: Compare the standard car-park tariff with valet. RGIA also identifies dedicated Park N Fly zones E9 and E10 and provides an availability check for selected dates and times.
- Parking a two-wheeler: Use the car park, not the ramps. The airport says two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws are not permitted on ramps.
- Meeting someone without parking a vehicle: RGIA lists a visitor gallery in the International Departure hall and Airport Village outside arrivals; their per-person entry charges are separate from vehicle parking.
- Passenger with reduced mobility: RGIA says it has an exclusive PRM drop-off zone and separate entry lane. Contact the passenger’s airline in advance to arrange assistance.
RGIA parking tariffs
The following charges are displayed on RGIA’s official parking page as checked on 4 October 2026. The page does not state when the rates took effect, so verify the current tariff before travel.

The ramp is for short stops, not waiting or parking during a trip. RGIA lists the first 0–8 minutes as free, ₹250 for 8–10 minutes, and ₹500 for 10–15 minutes; it says vehicles remaining beyond 15 minutes will be towed. Two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws are not allowed on ramps. Have the passenger ready to meet the vehicle so the stop stays within the permitted window. See the airport’s parking information for ramp details.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Long-stay parking, valet and Park N Fly
Standard car park
For a private four-wheeler, the displayed tariff is ₹750 for 24 hours, with shorter stays charged under the listed time bands and hourly rate. The tariff page does not establish whether this is a recurring daily cap for longer stays; check the live tariff or contact the Car Park Office at +91 40 6660 4210 for the details that apply to your stay.
Valet
Valet has its own tariff, including ₹900 for 12–24 hours and ₹900 for each subsequent 24 hours. Compare its listed charge with the standard tariff for your expected duration rather than assuming the two options use the same pricing rules.
Park N Fly
RGIA identifies dedicated Park N Fly zones E9 and E10 and offers an interface to check availability for chosen dates and times on its Park N Fly page. The page does not specify reservation guarantees, cancellation or advance-payment terms, a transfer or shuttle service, or how the exact price is calculated. Confirm those details in the booking flow or with the airport before relying on a reservation.
FASTag and paying to exit
RGIA says dedicated FASTag lanes are available and describes exit as cashless; its parking page states a maximum payable via FASTag of ₹1,500. An airport advisory dated 9 June 2026 says FASTag became active on both arrival and departure ramps. The available information does not say that FASTag is mandatory for payment in the general car park. Check the passenger advisory and parking page for current details.
Meeting a passenger without driving into a parking area
The RGIA FAQ lists two visitor areas with entry charges per person: the visitor gallery in the International Departure hall at ₹200 and Airport Village outside arrivals at ₹125. These are visitor-area charges, not vehicle-parking rates. Confirm access and current charges on the airport FAQ.
Alternatives to driving
If you do not want to park, RGIA lists authorized transport options including car-rental counters, bus services, radio taxis, app-based cabs and prepaid taxis. Routes, boarding points and availability can change; check the airport’s To and From Airport information and confirm arrangements with the service provider.
