The Nomad Camp sits underground beneath the Railyard on Pendola Pass. Approach the Railyard from its western side, find the passage that leads toward the Transit Tunnel, and follow it inside. The camp’s central raised walkway holds the yellow bag that yields the Equatorial Sundial, which you then display at the top of the Old Town church tower.
Where the Nomad Camp is
The camp is beneath the Railyard on Pendola Pass. Walkthroughs published by PC Gamer and GamesRadar around October 8–9, 2026, place it in the same area, and both describe the same basic approach: the western side of the Railyard, near the tracks that run underground. No walkthrough gives a verified coordinate or grid reference, so treat the landmarks below as the navigation cues to use.
Entrance landmarks
- PC Gamer’s description: a pipe running between the Railyard and the Transit Tunnel, on the west side.
- A second walkthrough’s description: a doorway on the Railyard’s southwestern side, west of the tracks that descend underground.
The two wordings describe the same western, underground access point from slightly different angles. If the pipe you see does not match the first description, check for the doorway beside the descending tracks. Either way, the passage leads inward, and the camp is a small interior area with raised metal walkways.
Getting to the Equatorial Sundial
Once you are inside the camp, the sundial is in a yellow bag on the central raised walkway. GamesRadar places it beside green barrels and a container wrapped in a blue tarp, which is a useful visual check before you interact. PC Gamer identifies the bag itself as the item interaction.
#1 Best Overall
- Enter the Railyard from its western side and locate the pipe or doorway that leads toward the Transit Tunnel.
- Follow the passage inside until you reach the camp’s raised metal walkways.
- Move to the central raised walkway and find the green barrels and the blue-tarped container.
- Search the yellow bag to obtain the Equatorial Sundial.
Delivering the sundial in Old Town
The next objective is the church in Old Town. Take the sundial there and display it at the top of the tower. PC Gamer describes climbing the spiral stairs and using the zipline to reach the top.
The sources differ slightly on the order of the final steps. The direct instruction is to display the sundial in the tower and extract with it. Keep the item through extraction, then deliver it to the Nomadic Envoy to complete the quest. If you extract before the item is delivered, do not assume the quest is finished.

If you cannot find the camp
- Confirm you are on the western side of the Railyard. The camp is not reached from the east.
- Look for the pipe or tunnel between the Railyard and the Transit Tunnel, or the doorway west of the underground tracks.
- If the layout looks different from these descriptions, the area may have changed after the Frozen Trail update that the walkthroughs reference. Check a current guide before spending time searching.
These guides were written shortly after that update, and map or quest changes in later patches can move landmarks or alter steps. Use them as a starting point, not as a permanent reference.
