In GTA 5, you can browse tattoos at parlors in Los Santos and Blaine County. Go to a shop, approach the tattoo chair, and use the on-screen prompt to open the tattoo menu. The named locations below give you useful places to start; you do not need to travel between shops to look for different designs.
Where are the tattoo shops in GTA 5?
Use the in-game map to navigate to a tattoo parlor. The following named examples are in Blaine County:

Los Santos also has tattoo-parlor businesses, including Los Santos Tattoos. These locations are reported by a secondary GTA reference; the names above are examples, not a complete verified list of every shop or map coordinate.
Do different GTA 5 tattoo parlors have different designs?
A GTA V reference says tattoo parlors share the same tattoo options, so there is no established shop-specific catalog to seek out. Choose a parlor based on where you are rather than making a cross-map trip for a particular design.

How do you get a tattoo in GTA 5?
- Open the in-game map and travel to a tattoo parlor.
- Approach the tattoo chair.
- Follow the on-screen prompt to browse the tattoo menu and select an available tattoo.
Rockstar’s support instructions for Biker Tattoos use this same general sequence: go to a tattoo parlor, approach the chair, and browse the menu. The cited instructions do not establish one controller button for every platform, so rely on the prompt shown in your game.
Are tattoos the same in GTA 5 Story Mode and GTA Online?
Do not assume the two modes have identical catalogs or unlock conditions. Rockstar update notes document additions for GTA Online, including 15 tattoos in Title Updates 1.27 and 1.28, 17 in 1.30, and 32 unisex tattoos in 1.68. Those are counts for the named updates, not the total current catalog, and they do not establish that the same items are available in Story Mode.

Keep GTA: San Andreas tattoo information separate
Search results for “GTA tattoos” can refer to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which has different locations and mechanics. Do not apply San Andreas claims about shop unlocks, city-specific selections, prices, or stat effects to GTA 5.
