For searchable T20 player statistics, filtered records and comparisons, start with ESPNcricinfo Statsguru. For historical scorecards and broader archive searches, try CricketArchive. Before trusting any total, check whether it covers T20 internationals or all Twenty20 matches, men’s or women’s cricket, and the competition you mean.
Choose a source based on the record you need

Define what “T20 stats” means
A T20 total is meaningful only when its scope is clear. T20 internationals (T20Is) are not interchangeable with all recognized Twenty20 matches, which can include domestic leagues and other competitions. Men’s, women’s and tournament-specific records are also distinct categories in the databases.
When noting a figure, record its source, format, gender category, competition or league, and any date range. A career total for T20Is should not be compared directly with an all-Twenty20 total or a tournament-only table unless the difference is made explicit.

Find and verify a player statistic
- Set the scope: decide whether you need men’s or women’s cricket, T20Is or all Twenty20 matches, and a particular league or tournament.
- Search Statsguru: open its records page and use the available format, category and query or analysis paths to locate player statistics, team records, grounds or officials.
- Inspect the filters: check that the selected format and competition match your question. Statsguru identifies its new engine as beta, so do not assume a result reflects the scope you intended.
- Check the scorecard: confirm an unexpected figure against the match scorecard, especially before quoting it.
- Label the result: keep the format, gender, competition and date range with the statistic when you share or cite it.
Search historical scorecards and tournament records
CricketArchive for archive searches
Use CricketArchive when the question depends on a historical scorecard or a broader search across international, domestic, women’s, junior, league and other matches. Its search and Twenty20 record categories can help locate material beyond a single competition, but archive coverage and inclusion rules should not be assumed identical to another site’s.

An ICC men’s T20 World Cup statistics PDF can help with a record tied to that tournament and the period covered by the document. Treat it as a dated snapshot: it may not include later matches and cannot substitute for a live all-T20 record search.

- Compare the format labels first; T20I and all-Twenty20 totals answer different questions.
- Check gender and competition filters, including whether a table is limited to a single tournament or league.
- Open the relevant match scorecards and see which innings or appearances are included.
- Report the source and scope alongside the figure rather than presenting an unlabeled “T20” total.
The sources do not establish that either database covers every competition or applies identical inclusion rules. ESPNcricinfo describes Statsguru as “the most comprehensive query tool for cricket statistics available online”; that is the site’s own description, not an independently verified ranking.
