For original disclosures from Indian listed companies, start with the SEBI corporate-filings index or search the company on the NSE or BSE filing pages. For analyst research, identify the report’s author or firm and check the SEBI Research Analyst directory. A filing is the company’s disclosure; an analyst report is interpretation, and registration verification does not certify the report’s accuracy.
Where can I find company filings for Indian stocks?
Use the exchange-hosted filing as the primary source for a listed company’s disclosures. SEBI’s Corporate Filings index is a useful starting point if you know the type of document but not where to look: it directs readers to NSE and BSE pages for filing categories.
NSE’s Investor Home links to corporate filings and lets you track recent filings for selected companies. Confirm the company’s identity by name or symbol before opening a document.

The index covers more than financial results. Depending on what you need, look for categories such as:
#1 Best Overall
- Financial results
- Shareholding patterns and corporate governance
- Business responsibility and sustainability reports
- Voting results and related-party transactions
- Insider-trading disclosures and secretarial compliance
After opening a document, note both its filing date and the period it covers. A recent upload can concern an earlier reporting period; the date alone does not tell you what period the figures describe.
Where can I read an Indian company’s annual report?
NSE offers an Annual Reports lookup searchable by company name or symbol. You can also check the company’s investor-relations page for annual reports and related materials. Treat that page as a convenient companion, not a substitute for checking the exchange record when the filing date or exact submitted document matters.

For any annual report or other document, confirm the company name, reporting period, and date. If you find a copy on a company site, compare it with the exchange-hosted disclosure when you need to establish that you are reading the same document.
Where can I find analyst reports for Indian stocks?
Start with the research provider or firm that issued the report and check its own access terms. The official sources covered here do not establish a single repository for all broker or independent analyst reports, or a common price or subscription model. Availability and access therefore depend on the provider.

When you have a report, record its publication date, author or firm, thesis, forecast horizon, assumptions, and any disclosed conflicts or limitations. Use filings to check factual claims about the company; treat estimates and valuation conclusions as the analyst’s interpretation rather than company-reported facts.
How do I check if a stock analyst is SEBI registered?
- Open SEBI Investor Support, which links to intermediary-registration resources and the Research Analyst directory.
- Search the Research Analyst register for the analyst or firm named on the report.
- Compare the identity and registration details shown in the register with the report. The directory includes registration identifiers and validity fields.
- Recheck the live entry before relying on it. SEBI’s page identified its records as of 2 October 2026 when reviewed on 4 October 2026, and registration records can change.
A matching registration record helps verify the intermediary’s identity and status; it does not establish that a specific report is correct, current, or suitable for your circumstances.

How should I compare a filing with an analyst report?
| What to check | Company filing | Analyst report |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Company disclosure hosted by an exchange | Analysis or opinion issued by an identified analyst or firm |
| Date and period | Filing date and reporting period | Publication date and forecast horizon |
| Traceability | Company identity and exchange record | Named author or firm and a registration record to check |
| Evidence | Reported information in the submitted document | Estimates, assumptions, valuation choices, and stated limitations |
| Access | Official exchange page | Provider-specific; cost and availability are not established by the official pages cited here |
Use the filing to establish what the company disclosed. Use the report to understand one analyst’s interpretation of that disclosure, then inspect the assumptions behind its conclusions.
