For the 2026 Haunted Floating Festival, gather Haunted Crow Feathers by the Scarecrow, Haunted Skeleton Fish beside Zero’s House, and Haunted White Roses beside the Haunted Mansion on the Haunted Floating Island. The Terror-rific Tree needs 20 feathers, 15 fish, and 10 roses; the Potion Brewer’s cauldron needs a rose, a Catfish, two event fish, and a Swordfish. The festival runs through October 31, 2026.
How to reach the Haunted Floating Island
Enter through the event portal in the Plaza or use the event-menu teleport option. Gameloft says the 2026 Haunted Floating Festival runs from October 7 through October 31, with new and returning puzzles and seasonal rewards: Season of Scares Update Patch Notes. The portal and event-menu routes are described in the official Haunted Floating Festival event article; that article covers the prior-year event, so its dates and puzzle release schedule do not apply to 2026.
Where to collect the three Haunted Floating Island items
The current item locations and respawn details below are reported by the community-maintained Dreamlight Valley Wiki festival walkthrough.
- Haunted Crow Feathers: Pick them up near the Scarecrow. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 10-minute respawn.
- Haunted Skeleton Fish: Pick them up beside Zero’s House. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 10-minute respawn.
- Haunted White Roses: Pick them up beside the Haunted Mansion. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 15-minute respawn.
Take the available items, then return after the reported respawn interval to collect more. These are community-wiki details, not figures stated in Gameloft’s event announcement. The wiki also reports that feeding the Ghostly “Zero” Fox a Haunted Skeleton Fish yields one memory piece per day, with four daily feedings needed for the complete memory.

Terror-rific Tree: required items
Put these quantities in the tree’s item container:
- 20 Haunted Crow Feathers
- 15 Haunted Skeleton Fish
- 10 Haunted White Roses
The tree’s nearby clue book describes the items in riddle form; all three are collected at the island locations above.

Potion Brewer’s House: cauldron recipe
Place the following in the cauldron:
- 1 Haunted White Rose
- 1 Catfish
- 2 Haunted Skeleton Fish
- 1 Swordfish
Collect the rose and Haunted Skeleton Fish on the festival island. Catch the Catfish in a gold ripple in Peaceful Meadow and the Swordfish in a gold ripple on Dazzle Beach.
Combination Pillar: symbol order
Read the symbol clues around the island and count their adjacent pumpkins. Set the Combination Pillar in this order:

Haunted Mansion armor quiz answers
Answer the armor’s four questions in this order:
- How many blue pumpkins are on the island? Six.
- Which animal is in the Scary Surprise Box? A cat.
- How many graves are in the festival? Seven.
- What is the Ghostly “Zero” Fox’s favorite food? Blue Skele-Fish.
Haunted Mansion book puzzle: where each book goes
Move each book from its starting room to its destination:
- Boo! The Big Book of Bat Facts by Paul Tergeist: back room to front room.
- Frightening Flowers by I.M. Skaired: front room to hallway.
- The Chilling Cosmos by T. Rick Ortreat: hallway to storage room.
- Terrifying Tunes by Major Frite: storage room to back room.
Returning the final book triggers a memory puzzle.

Lost Magic Page combination puzzle
The community wiki reports that this puzzle is in a locked bedroom and becomes accessible with a Repaired Haunted Key after completing the Missing Books puzzle.

Eerie Basement Door Key
The wiki’s instructions say to break the lion statue with a key in its mouth using the Pickaxe, then use the Eerie Basement Door Key at the exterior basement door.
