For US and Canadian families, the most reliable starting points for official Pokémon cards are Pokémon Center and nearby retailers found through Pokémon’s Retail Locator. Pokémon Support also names Walmart, Target, GameStop, and reputable local hobby shops as places to look. Those are shopping channels—not confirmation that a particular store has the 30th Celebration products in stock or is charging MSRP.
As of October 3, 2026, the 30th Celebration Mini Tin and Booster Bundle have both been released. The official sources cited here do not list their US MSRPs, so check a product’s price against an official or retailer price when available rather than trusting a marketplace label or assuming any listing is “retail.”
Where to look for Pokémon cards at retail price
Pokémon Support recommends buying directly from Pokémon Center or using its Retail Locator to find nearby sellers of official Pokémon products. It also lists Walmart, Target, GameStop, and reputable local hobby shops as general places to find TCG products. See Pokémon’s product-availability guidance and its overview of TCG product types.

How to check a listing before buying
- Confirm the product name and pack count match what you intend to buy.
- Compare the displayed item price with an official product or retailer price if one is available. The official sources cited here do not publish a US MSRP for the named 30th Celebration products.
- Check who is selling and fulfilling the order, plus shipping costs, tax, stock status, and purchase limits.
- If the price is higher than the price you are willing to pay, wait or check another retailer; a product being released does not mean it is available everywhere.
What is in the 30th Celebration release
Pokémon announced its TCG 30th anniversary on February 27, 2026, describing a global launch in participating markets followed by additional products during the year. The 30th Celebration expansion launched September 16, 2026, and Pokémon says it contains over 150 cards across the main set and Classic Collection. See the anniversary announcement and expansion launch announcement.
Pokémon’s October 1 roundup says the Mini Tin and Booster Bundle became available October 2. Their release dates establish when they entered the lineup, not whether a given shop still has them.

Which product makes sense for your child?
Choose based on whether the goal is opening packs, collecting an extra item, or playing a game—not on a promise of better card odds. Pokémon Support says booster packs are randomized. It also says packs in products such as collection boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes are the same packs sold individually and do not have a higher chance of particular cards.
| If your child wants… | Consider… | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Several packs in one purchase | Booster Bundle | It contains six packs; compare its total price and price per pack with alternatives. |
| A small gift with a collectible extra | Mini Tin | It contains two packs, a sticker sheet, and an art card; there are ten designs. |
| A ready-to-play option | A preconstructed deck | Pokémon describes these as fixed 60-card products intended to be playable out of the box, unlike randomized booster packs. |
| Packs plus a visible promo or accessories | A collection box or Elite Trainer Box | Check the included items and total price; the packs do not have better odds than packs sold separately. |
Compare the total out-the-door cost and price per pack, but also account for extras your child will actually use. Sleeves or a binder may help store cards; they are optional, not a reason to pay more for packs. Pokémon’s product guidance covers these product types and accessories in its TCG product overview.
Quick Recap
Rank #4
- Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black Booster Bundle contains six booster packs from Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black.

How to avoid paying more than you intend
- Use Pokémon Center or the Retail Locator to identify official-product channels in your area.
- Check the retailer’s own site or contact the store to confirm the exact product is available; a general retailer recommendation is not a stock check.
- Compare the item price with a published official or retailer price if you can find one. The official pages cited here do not provide a US MSRP for the 30th Celebration Mini Tin, Booster Bundle, or other named products.
- Review seller identity, shipping, taxes, stock, and purchase restrictions before paying.
- Set a maximum family budget and skip listings above it. Randomized packs are not a reliable way to obtain a specific card.
