The PS5 Pro’s US recommended retail price is $899.99, effective April 2, 2026. PlayStation Direct’s US product page showed the console as out of stock when checked on October 7, 2026, and no named third-party retailer’s live stock or price was verified. Start with PlayStation’s official buying page, then confirm the seller and total at checkout before paying.
Where to check for a PS5 Pro at retail price
- Check PlayStation Direct. Sony’s official US store lists the 2 TB PS5 Pro. Its page showed “Not in stock? Please check back later” when checked on October 7, 2026. View the PS5 Pro on PlayStation Direct.
- Use PlayStation’s official retailer page to find purchase routes. The US page has a “Buy PS5 Pro” link and directs customers to online retailers. It does not establish which retailer currently has stock at the recommended price. Visit PlayStation’s PS5 buying page.
- Check a retailer’s live listing before ordering. Confirm that the console is in stock, who the seller is, and whether the displayed price is for the console alone or a bundle. Stock and checkout totals can change; an official retailer directory or a past launch announcement is not proof of current availability.
At the time checked, current stock at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, GameStop, and other named third-party stores had not been verified. Do not assume any one of them has the console at retail price without checking its current listing and seller details.

What counts as retail price?
Sony announced the PS5 Pro’s US recommended retail price as $899.99, effective April 2, 2026. That is the reference price for comparing offers, not a guarantee that every store will list it at that amount. Sony announced the change on March 27, 2026, citing “continued pressures in the global economic landscape.” Read Sony’s price announcement.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThere is a small but important mismatch: PlayStation Direct’s product page displayed $899.00 when checked, rather than Sony’s announced $899.99 recommended price. Treat the announcement and the live listing as distinct figures, and verify the final checkout total rather than assuming either display is the amount you will pay.
