Nintendo of America’s Customer Appreciation Sale ran from September 12 through September 26, 2026, and has ended. The promotion advertised 30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles, plus savings on select physical games and other products.
What did Nintendo’s Customer Appreciation Sale include?
Nintendo described the event as “one of our largest promotions ever.” That is Nintendo’s characterization, not an independently established ranking. Its September 10, 2026 announcement listed these offers:
- 30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles.
- Additional savings on select physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo, and apparel.
Nintendo did not publish a complete title-by-title list in the announcement, so it does not establish which specific games or products were discounted.
Where were the offers available?
The announced sales channels were Nintendo eShop, Nintendo Store, and participating retail locations. Nintendo cautioned that products and offers could vary by retailer and sales channel. The announcement does not establish present-day prices or inventory.

Why did Nintendo say it was holding the sale?
Nintendo said the promotion was made possible in part by tariff-related refunds and that it had absorbed most tariff-related costs. In the announcement, the company said: “The Customer Appreciation Sale is our way of saying thank you to Nintendo players for their continued support and is made possible in part by tariff-related refunds.” Nintendo did not provide a refund amount or further financial details.
