God of War Ragnarök is a good direction if Wolverine appeals because of a protagonist-driven story and forceful close-quarters action, rather than because you specifically want a Marvel setting. PlayStation’s description centers on Kratos and Atreus and highlights weapon abilities, attacks that work together, and combat progression.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a natural alternative if you chiefly want another Marvel action-adventure, this time with Peter Parker and Miles Morales. PlayStation’s official material establishes that superhero setting and its PS5 identity, but it does not provide enough detail here to claim its combat closely resembles Wolverine’s. Treat it as a choice for another Marvel story, not a guaranteed match for Wolverine’s aggressive melee style.

How E-Day and Wolverine differ—and why it changes the next pick
Xbox describes Gears of War: E-Day as a third-person cover shooter in which Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago confront the emergence of the Locust. The Xbox page lists Xbox Series X|S and Windows, an October 6, 2026 release date, and Game Pass inclusion. That date is two days after the page was checked on October 4, 2026, so the listed launch is imminent; confirm the current release and catalog details on Xbox before relying on them.
By contrast, PlayStation describes Marvel’s Wolverine as a single-player, narrative-driven action-adventure. Its official description points to aggressive momentum and Rage in combat. That distinction is useful when choosing: repeat Gears’ cover shooting and possible co-op with Reloaded, or follow Wolverine’s character-led action with Ragnarök or The Last of Us Part II, depending on whether you prefer mythic spectacle or survival tension.
