For an officially listed Pokémon-themed room you can check for a regular stay, start with MIMARU’s Pokémon Rooms in Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka. Its current English page lists 10 participating properties, rooms measuring 38–60 m² for four to six guests, and booking links. The room design varies, and you cannot choose a specific design, so confirm the property, sleeping layout, dates, and terms before booking.
Where can you book a Pokémon-themed hotel room in Japan?
MIMARU’s official Pokémon Room page lists participating apartment hotels in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and links to their booking information. The room is not a single property: choose the city and specific hotel that fit your itinerary, then check whether the themed room is offered and available for your dates.
The operator’s June 30, 2025 announcement listed 10 properties for the July 1 refresh: five in Tokyo, four in Kyoto, and one in Osaka. The current MIMARU page presents the same city distribution. Treat the announcement as a location and refresh record, not proof that a room is available on a particular date.
- Tokyo: MIMARU Tokyo Ueno East, MIMARU Tokyo Hatchobori, MIMARU Tokyo Ginza EAST, MIMARU Tokyo Kinshicho, and MIMARU Tokyo Ikebukuro.
- Kyoto: MIMARU Kyoto Shinmachi Sanjo, MIMARU Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo, MIMARU Kyoto Nishinotoin Takatsuji, and MIMARU Kyoto Station.
- Osaka: MIMARU Osaka Namba NORTH.
For the current property list and booking links, use the MIMARU Pokémon Room page. The 2025 refresh announcement is available from Cosmos Hotel Management.

What is included in a MIMARU Pokémon Room?
The themed details are part of the room: MIMARU describes a large Snorlax plush in the bedroom, a dining table with a Poké Ball motif, and Pokémon designs on kitchen items including original plates and cups. The bathroom features Water-type Pokémon, with a bathtub and a separate toilet. These are room furnishings and décor, not items guests should assume they can take home.
A separate guest novelty set is included: one set per group per reservation, containing a laundry bag, drawstring bag, small purse, and stickers. The sticker design cannot be selected. Do not confuse this set with the installed decorations or dishes.

Will the room fit your group and sleeping arrangements?
MIMARU lists room sizes of 38–60 m² and capacity for four to six guests on its current English room page. Sleeping arrangements vary; listed configurations include loft beds, bunk beds, and four single beds. These are ranges and options across room types, not a guarantee that every property has every layout or accommodates six in the same configuration.

Can you choose the Pokémon room design?
No. MIMARU says the design varies by room type and guests cannot select a specific design. If a particular arrangement or visual detail matters to your trip, ask the property what can be confirmed for your reservation; do not assume a page image guarantees the exact room you will receive. This is especially important before committing to a nonrefundable reservation.
How to check a room and book it
- Open the official MIMARU Pokémon Room page and select a destination that works with your itinerary.
- Choose a participating property, then follow its booking link and enter your travel dates and party size.
- Read the room-specific information for capacity, bed configuration, and any room-type or design details. Confirm the layout directly with the property if the booking page does not answer a question that affects your group.
- At checkout, review the live total price, payment terms, cancellation deadline, and availability for your dates. These terms are date-specific and are not established by the general room page.
- Before finalizing, make sure the booking is for the Pokémon Room rather than a different room category at the same hotel.
Is the NOT A HOTEL Poké Ball stay a bookable alternative?
Not on the basis of its September 15, 2026 announcement. NOT A HOTEL described a Poké Ball-shaped lodging experience in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, as a special stay for Pokémon Sleep users who won a social-media campaign. The announcement said it would not be generally sold or open to the public during the campaign. It therefore does not establish a regular room that travelers can book. See NOT A HOTEL’s announcement for the campaign details; any later change in access would need separate confirmation.
