If an AION 2 rune reward is missing, first identify where it was supposed to come from: a Twitch Drop, a PURPLE livestream reward, or an in-game quest or activity. The official instructions available for Twitch Drops can help with those rewards, but they do not establish how a Clash Rune is earned or confirm a universal fix for missing runes. Check the steps that match your reward source, then contact AION 2 Support with the details needed to check your character’s reward record.
First identify the missing reward’s source
“Clash Rune” alone does not identify the reward channel or prove that a reward was granted. The official materials reviewed do not specify a Clash Rune’s acquisition route, prerequisites, quantity, or delivery location. Start with the event, quest, or activity that promised it:
- Twitch Drop: Check the campaign and your Twitch Drops Inventory.
- PURPLE livestream reward: Check the instructions for that specific livestream event.
- In-game quest or activity: Record its exact name and completion details; Twitch Drop steps do not verify an in-game reward.
Also note whether you expected the rune in your inventory, mailbox, or another interface. The reviewed sources do not establish a universal delivery location for Clash Runes.
If the reward was a Twitch Drop
The official AION 2 Twitch Drops FAQ says Drops require watching a participating channel for the campaign’s required watch time and claiming the reward in Twitch Drops Inventory. Check each part of that process:

- Confirm the campaign was active. Having watched a channel does not establish eligibility if it was not participating in the relevant campaign.
- Check the campaign’s watch-time requirement. Verify that you watched long enough for the particular Drop.
- Claim it in Twitch Drops Inventory. Watching alone is not the same as claiming. If you missed the on-screen claim message, the FAQ says you can still claim while the campaign remains active.
- Check your server region. The FAQ says Twitch Drops are for AION 2 Global server players; Korea and Taiwan server players are not eligible.
If you are an eligible Global player and the claimed Drop still has not arrived, the FAQ directs you to AION 2 Support.
Make sure Twitch is linked to the platform account you actually use
A claim can fail to reach the expected game account if Twitch is connected to a different platform account. The official Steam announcements include an account-linking guide. Check that the linked account matches your normal AION 2 access path:

- Steam player: Link the Steam account you use to play.
- NC (PURPLE) player: Link the NC (PURPLE) account you use to play.
The guide warns that linking another account may prevent Drops from arriving. It also cautions against separately linking through the NC website as a generic recovery step, because that can disrupt an existing connection. If you are unsure which account is linked, check the official guide before changing account connections.
Use the relog workaround only for the matching PURPLE livestream issue
NC’s September 23 PURPLE notice described a specific livestream Drop claim issue and a refresh-and-reclaim path for affected PC and mobile players. For that event-specific problem, the notice advised returning to character selection or relogging, logging in again, and claiming through the chest icon left of the minimap.

This is not a confirmed fix for every missing reward or for a Clash Rune from an in-game activity. Use it only when the reward and issue match that PURPLE livestream notice; do not treat a relog as proof that a separate rune reward was granted.
Check whether an official notice matches your event
The AION 2 Steam announcements page showed an “Advanced Access Known Issues (Updated: 10/4)” notice on October 4, 2026. That notice does not list a Clash Rune or rune-reward issue. Its omission does not prove there is no defect; it means that notice does not confirm one.

Past reward notices also show why it is important to match the exact activity and timing rather than assume one bug explains another. A December 17 notice described missed Spacetime Rift completion rewards when completion coincided with the Rift’s end time. A May notice described a mission-score issue involving Nightmare bosses. Neither notice establishes the cause of a missing rune now.
Contact AION 2 Support with enough detail to check the reward
If you cannot confirm that the reward was a Twitch Drop, or the relevant checks do not resolve the issue, ask official Support to verify the reward record for your character. For a claimed eligible Twitch Drop, the official FAQ specifically directs players to Support when it has not arrived. For an in-game reward, provide the exact activity or quest so Support can assess that case rather than applying Drop instructions to it.

- Region/server and character name
- Reward source, including the exact campaign, livestream, quest, or activity
- When you completed the requirement and, if relevant, when you claimed the reward
- Where you expected the reward, and which inventory or mailbox locations you checked
- Screenshots or video showing the claim, completion, or relevant account status
Use the official Twitch Drops FAQ for Drop support guidance. For a non-Drop reward, use AION 2’s official Support channel and include the details above. The available notices do not establish a guaranteed response time or universal compensation policy.
Do not buy currency to try to recover a missing rune
A missing reward is not a reason to use a third-party currency seller. The AION 2 team’s warning in the official Steam announcements says unauthorized currency purchases violate the Terms of Service and can result in termination of access.
