Which Dalaran? This guide covers Northrend Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, not the separate Broken Isles version or a verified current-retail service map. The Wrath Classic city guide documents everyday services such as banking, inns, profession trainers, vendors, and a barbershop, but access can depend on your faction, character, or profession.
Which version of Dalaran are you visiting?
World of Warcraft has distinct Dalaran locations in Northrend and the Broken Isles, and their service layouts should not be treated as interchangeable. This directory is specifically for Northrend Dalaran as covered by Wowhead’s Wrath of the Lich King Classic city guide, updated September 8, 2022. That guide is useful for orientation, but its age means patch-sensitive details should be checked in the Classic build you are playing.
Older directions can also reflect historical changes to Northrend Dalaran’s services. Warcraft Wiki’s Northrend Dalaran reference describes the city’s history and separate versions; do not assume a portal or service mentioned in old directions is still available in your patch.
What services can you use in Northrend Dalaran?
The Classic city guide groups the city’s useful stops around everyday player needs. Use these categories to plan your visit, then confirm the precise NPC and access requirements in your game version.
#1 Best Overall
- Banking: The guide includes bank services for storing or retrieving items.
- Resting: Inns provide a place to rest; use the inn area when you need that service.
- Professions: Profession trainers and related vendors support training and supplies. A trainer or item may require the relevant profession or other character qualification.
- Grooming: A barbershop is listed among the city’s services.
- Trading and supplies: Vendors offer goods, with some service access associated with faction districts or other restrictions.
How faction districts and requirements affect access
Dalaran’s faction areas matter when following vendor or service directions: a location described in the guide may be tied to one faction’s district, and not every character has access to every listed service. Profession-specific services can likewise require the matching profession. Treat the guide’s directions as a route to check, not as a promise that every NPC or option is available to every character.
The retrieved directory does not establish a complete, patch-current list of individual NPC names, coordinates, or requirements. For exact directions, match the guide to your faction and profession, then verify the NPC and service in the intended Wrath Classic build.

No. The detailed directory here is for Wrath of the Lich King Classic’s Northrend Dalaran. A current retail Dalaran service layout was not established by the available sources, so these locations should not be used as retail directions. Blizzard’s retrieved city-preview material concerns Valdrakken, not Dalaran, and does not confirm Dalaran’s retail services.
