At Embedded World 2024, Sunway and Arrow presented three integration-focused product areas: a Qi2.x wireless-charging module, NXP-based ultra-wideband (UWB) modules and development hardware, and surface-mount clips for connecting antennas and grounds to printed circuit boards. The UWB lineup ranged from compact embedded modules to a tag and an evaluation kit for ranging and real-time location system (RTLS) work.
What Sunway and Arrow presented
Embedded.com’s event report describes three demonstrations: a Qi2.x charging module supplied with mechanical and electronic components for device integration; UWB modules, antennas, tags and a development kit based on NXP chipsets; and SMT clips for antenna and ground connections on PCBs. Modules for different antenna arrangements
Arrow catalogs the SW-M1000-SR040-1 as a surface-mount UWB module with an integrated antenna and IEEE 802.15.4z technology. That integrated arrangement may suit designs seeking to reduce separate antenna integration work, subject to the product’s fit with the device’s mechanical and RF requirements. The SW-M1000-SR150-3XFE-1 is cataloged as an SR150 UWB module with three antenna connectors. Its connector-based design presents a different integration choice from the SR040 module’s integrated antenna. Sunway describes its UWB integration as combining NXP Trimension silicon with antenna, power management and clock control. The stated aim is to reduce the separate RF-design burden for an integrator; it is not a published performance benchmark. Sunway UWB integration
SW-STU001 tag
The SW-STU001 tag combines an NXP Trimension SR040 UWB chip with a QN9090 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chipset. Its listed components also include an accelerometer, buzzer, NFC and a secure element. The supplied unit requires a CR2032 coin cell. These features make it a tag-oriented option rather than a bare module, although the product description alone does not specify every application or software workflow it supports. Can the EVK-3 be used for UWB ranging or RTLS prototyping?
Yes. Sunway documents the EVK-3 as a physical development kit for high-precision UWB ranging, angle-of-arrival and RTLS applications. Its hardware includes an SR150 module on a MikroBus carrier, a Nordic nRF52840 host MCU and an SW-SU001 dual-patch UWB antenna. Sunway: EVK-3 development kit

Sunway documents workflows for two-way ranging, phase-difference-of-arrival, time-difference-of-arrival and 2D or 3D RTLS. Those are distinct positioning and ranging approaches; the kit provides a platform to explore them, but the documentation cited here does not give a comparative accuracy figure or guarantee results in a particular deployment. What the antenna connector clips do
The SMT clips are standard surface-mount PCB components intended to connect antennas and grounds to a board. They offer a board-level connection approach for those points; they are separate from the UWB modules and are not themselves antennas or positioning products. For a design decision, check the antenna arrangement and mechanical fit first, then verify the host interface, software support, intended UWB function, supply channel and current availability with Sunway or Arrow. The cited descriptions do not establish prices, a common performance benchmark or current stock status, so those points need to be confirmed for the intended region and build.

Wireless charging: the Qi2.x module
The charging product shown at the event was described as a standard Qi2.x wireless-charging module that includes mechanics and electronics to simplify integration into customer devices. The event report does not identify a specific Qi2.x sub-version, power rating, device compatibility list or certification status, so those details should be checked against the exact module specification before designing around it.
