Pigeon: A Love Story is a slow-paced flight-and-search game: you glide around a simulated city looking for one particular pigeon among a huge flock. Wristwork’s Steam store description calls it “a game where you soar across to-scale replicas of iconic cities in search of your pigeon-shaped soulmate.” It is listed for Windows, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux, with solo play, online multiplayer, and a passive birdwatching mode.
What do you do in Pigeon: A Love Story?
The central task is to search a city for your pigeon-shaped soulmate among hundreds of thousands of autonomous pigeon characters. The game’s own short pitch is “It’s a slow game for fast times.” Rather than describing a sequence of action objectives, the Steam listing frames play around flying, exploring, and spotting one bird in a large simulated population.
The listed cities are London, New York, Tokyo, Paris, and Amsterdam. Wristwork’s August 6, 2026 launch announcement says a secret map unlocks after finding the soulmate in each of the other maps.

Steam lists single-player, online co-op, and online PvP. Its description says up to eight friends can play across two multiplayer modes: one focuses on finding one another, while the other is a race to find a soulmate pigeon first. The store listing also advertises an optional “Speak-to-Coo” feature that lets players call out through a microphone.

The Steam page lists minimum operating systems of Windows 10, macOS Mojave or later, and Ubuntu 12.04, alongside separate processor, memory, and graphics requirements for each platform. Check the complete requirements on the store page against your computer before buying, especially if you are using Linux or an older Mac.
What the listing does—and does not—establish
The Steam listing includes the game as a digital purchase and also lists a digital soundtrack composed by Madwreck. It does not establish a physical edition or require a special birdwatching accessory.
