An “any-screen computer” is a compact computer—often called a PC stick or computer on a stick—that plugs into a separate display, usually through HDMI. The stick does the computing; a TV, monitor, or projector displays the picture, while a keyboard, mouse, remote, phone, or tablet supplies input.

How it differs from a streaming stick
A PC stick and an entertainment-focused streaming stick may both connect to a TV, but the connection alone does not make them the same kind of device. A PC stick runs a general-purpose operating system that supports computer tasks; a streaming stick is designed primarily for media services. Check the operating system and supported apps before treating a media device as a general-purpose computer.

Specifications vary by model, and the term “any-screen computer” does not establish current performance, ports, or compatibility. For a specific device, verify:

Why older product examples need context
Reference pages discuss historical devices such as the Rikomagic MK802, Intel Compute Stick models, and FXI Cotton Candy. Their launch dates and specifications describe those particular products, not what a current PC stick offers. The available definitions do not establish present-day model availability, successors, prices, or performance benchmarks, so an old example should not be taken as a current buying recommendation.
