A LinkedIn Showcase Page is a separate page connected to an organization’s main LinkedIn Page. It gives a significant brand, business unit, or initiative its own content stream and followers. Those followers are distinct from the parent Page’s audience, so a Showcase Page is best suited to an ongoing audience—not a short-term campaign or one-time event.
What is a LinkedIn Showcase Page?
Think of the main LinkedIn Page as an organization’s home and a Showcase Page as a dedicated channel for one of its brands, business units, or initiatives. The Showcase Page remains linked to one parent LinkedIn Page; it is not an unrelated company presence. LinkedIn describes it as a way to build a long-term relationship with a specific audience.
For example, an organization might use its main Page for company-wide updates and a Showcase Page for a substantial product brand with its own news and community. That is a practical fit, not a LinkedIn requirement: the platform does not publish a minimum number of posts or a threshold for when a sub-brand merits its own page.

Consider a Showcase Page when a brand, business area, or initiative has a distinct audience and enough continuing material to support its own publishing stream. LinkedIn explicitly discourages using a Showcase Page for a short-term campaign or one-time event; it recommends other advertising products for a one-time event. See LinkedIn’s Showcase Page guidance.
- Good potential fit: a durable sub-brand or business unit that needs to communicate regularly with a specific audience.
- Usually a poor fit: a brief promotion, single event, or topic that does not need an ongoing audience and separate content.
A separate page also creates a separate audience to build. It does not automatically extend the parent Page’s reach.
How is it different from the main LinkedIn Page?
| Area | Main LinkedIn Page | Showcase Page |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Represents the organization broadly. | Spotlights a specific brand, business unit, or initiative. |
| Parent relationship | Organization’s primary Page. | Associated with one parent LinkedIn Page. |
| Followers | Audience for the organization’s Page. | Separate audience; parent followers are not carried over when the Showcase Page is created. |
| Content and audience | General company updates and organization-wide relationship. | Focused content for a distinct audience over time. |
| Posts, sponsored posts, analytics, and following | Available, according to LinkedIn’s feature comparison. | Available, according to LinkedIn’s feature comparison. |
| Job associations, Career Pages, and member-profile association | Listed by LinkedIn as main Page features. | Not included for Showcase Pages in LinkedIn’s comparison. |
| Administration | Managed by Page admins. | Creation requires a parent Page super admin; the creator becomes a Showcase Page super admin. |
LinkedIn also lists activity notifications, featured groups, social media content management, and appearance in relevant LinkedIn search and advertising account results as available for both Page types. The platform’s feature comparison can change, so check LinkedIn’s current Showcase Page details if a specific capability is important to your decision.
Are Showcase Page followers and analytics shared with the parent?
No. A Showcase Page has its own followers, follower count, analytics, and notifications. The parent Page’s followers are not migrated or added when a Showcase Page is created. Members can follow the Showcase Page separately, so its audience must be built independently.

What features does a Showcase Page support?
LinkedIn’s comparison says Showcase Pages support posts, sponsored posts, followers, analytics, activity notifications, featured groups, social media content management, and visibility in relevant LinkedIn search and advertising account results. The comparison does not list job associations, Career Pages, or member-profile association for Showcase Pages. Check LinkedIn’s feature guidance for the current details, since platform capabilities can change.
How do you create a LinkedIn Showcase Page?
A super admin of the parent LinkedIn Page must create the Showcase Page. LinkedIn allows up to 25 Showcase Pages per parent Page, and daily anti-spam limits may also apply. Its dedicated instructions describe creating one from the parent Page’s super-admin view:
Rank #3
- Open the organization’s parent LinkedIn Page in super-admin view.
- Choose the option to create a Page, then select the Showcase Page type.
- Associate the new page with the organization’s parent Page.
- Enter the required details and create the page.
See LinkedIn’s instructions for creating a Showcase Page. The creator receives super-admin access. LinkedIn says only Showcase Page super admins can edit the page, add or remove admins, and post as the page. Super admins can edit details such as the logo, tagline, locations, and custom button; the page also has its own URL, which can be customized in the admin view. If LinkedIn shows a daily-limit error, its guidance is to wait at least 24 hours before trying again.
LinkedIn’s general Page-creation guide includes Showcase Page as a Page type, but its listed mobile workflow names Company and Educational institution rather than Showcase Page. If the dedicated creation option is missing or your interface differs, consult LinkedIn’s Showcase Page help.

Can you convert a Showcase Page into a LinkedIn Page?
LinkedIn says conversion is possible by contacting LinkedIn. A super admin of both the parent Page and the Showcase Page must make the request. Because LinkedIn warns that Page-type conversion is irreversible and can affect the URL, followers, content, jobs, and affiliations, review its current conversion instructions and confirm the consequences with LinkedIn before requesting a change.
