Charlotte, North Carolina, resident Arin Patterson used a Google Form—not a dating app—to invite marriage-minded men to introduce themselves. Reporting published by October 3, 2026, says she received 241 formal submissions and between 1,000 and 1,500 direct messages. The coverage describes plans to review candidates and begin with phone calls; it does not confirm that she found a partner.
What was Patterson’s “husband application”?
It was a personal dating invitation built as a three-page Google Form and reportedly pinned to Patterson’s Instagram bio. Interested men could answer questions about themselves so she could consider whether they might be a fit. It was not a dating app she developed, a matchmaking company, or a public service for other people looking for spouses.
Patterson had tried dating apps, meeting people in person, and accepting introductions, according to the New York Post account. She told the outlet: “I’m always open to people setting me up … I have done literally everything that I know to do, which is how I got to the husband application.” AOL’s reproduction of the New York Post report describes the form and the reported closing time.
What were the reported qualifications?
The reporting distinguishes minimum qualifications from preferred traits. Applicants were reportedly expected to be single, Christian, between 28 and 47, and genuinely interested in a serious relationship with marriage and fatherhood in view. A bachelor’s degree or higher and a height of at least 5 feet 10 inches were described as preferences, not hard requirements.

The form also reportedly asked about careers, daily routines, relationship goals, family views, and interests. The exact questionnaire has not been independently confirmed in the available coverage, so these details should be understood as outlet-reported rather than a verified, complete copy of the form. Magic 95.9’s October 2, 2026 account summarizes the reported application and response.
How many men responded?
The New York Post reporting gives two different counts: 241 formal form submissions and “anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500” direct messages. The messages were not additional completed applications, and the figures are reported counts attributed to Patterson—not independently validated platform analytics or a count of unique applicants.

The application window was reported to have closed at 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 30, 2026. AOL’s September 30 reproduction of the New York Post story reports that closing time.
Did Patterson find a husband?
The coverage does not report a confirmed match. Patterson’s reported next step was to review submissions, start with phone calls, and decide whom to meet for dates. That is a plan, not evidence that a relationship or marriage resulted.
Rank #3
She described the effort to the New York Post as “an opportunity for me to try something new, try something different,” adding that it was “working out thus far.” In context, that assessment reflects the attention and responses the form attracted; it should not be read as confirmation she had found a partner. The October 2 syndicated account also recounts her reported plan to begin with calls.

Patterson’s approach made her intentions and the initial screening questions explicit before a first date. A form can collect introductions in one place, but the reported response totals say nothing by themselves about compatibility, how many people met her stated qualifications, or what happened after the application window closed. Her story is an individual experiment in meeting potential partners—not evidence that a form is more effective than dating apps or introductions generally.
