What Happens to New Denpa Men Purchases and In-Game Currency When Service Ends?

New Denpa Men’s service ends December 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. JST. Paid-item sales, including Jewels and packs, stopped October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. JST. Genius Sonority says it will refund the unused paid portion of in-game currency, but has not yet announced how or when to request that refund. Record your Support ID and keep the app installed while you wait for the publisher’s instructions.

What happens to your Jewels and other purchases?

After service ends, game data—including Jewels and items—will no longer be available. Genius Sonority says unused in-game currency from the paid portion will be refunded under Article 20, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Payment Services Act. The announcement does not extend that refund statement to free or earned currency, or to paid currency that has already been spent. Genius Sonority’s end-of-service announcement

Paid-item sales have already stopped. The publisher lists Jewels, Jewel Packs, Value Packs, the Stamina Expansion Pack, and the Create Pack among the paid items affected. You cannot make new purchases through the game after the October 5 cutoff.

When does service end, and when can you request a refund?

The dates are stated by Genius Sonority in its shutdown notice. As of October 7, 2026, the publisher has not published the refund request period, application channel, detailed eligibility or verification steps, or payment method. It says it will announce the refund procedure on its official website after service ends. Do not assume a deadline or payment route until those instructions appear.

What to do before the shutdown

1. Save your Support ID. The ID is required to request a refund. You can view it in Support on the app’s title screen, and the publisher says it will remain accessible there through March 31, 2027. Write it down before service ends.
2. Keep the app installed on its current device. Do not delete it or reinstall it on a new device until the refund procedure is complete. Genius Sonority says it needs the game data to verify inquiries.
3. Decide whether to spend paid Jewels before December 7. The publisher recommends using paid Jewels before shutdown because Jewels and other game data will not be available afterward. If you leave paid currency unused, the announced refund covers its unused paid portion; the request process is still pending.
4. Check the official notice for the eventual instructions. Use Genius Sonority’s end-of-service page for the request window and procedure once published.

Can you keep playing offline or move currency to another platform?

The game’s official FAQ says only Offline Catch can be played without an online environment. The shutdown announcement does not promise an offline version or continued access to the main game after service ends.
