Donald Trump was interrupted by a reported profane shout during his September 27, 2026 appearance at the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Illinois. News accounts describe the heckler’s words as an accusation; they do not establish that accusation as fact or identify the speaker.
What happened at the Presidents Cup?
Trump attended the tournament as its honorary chairman. The Presidents Cup’s official announcement said he accepted the role for the 2026 competition at Medinah Country Club, scheduled for September 22–27.
The incident occurred during his brief Sunday appearance on September 27. The Daily Beast reported that a heckler interrupted him with a profane accusation during the live broadcast. A Times of India video-page description likewise characterized a profane shout as audible in footage circulating from Medinah.
The available accounts do not establish the speaker’s identity or motive, and the accusation should not be treated as a verified fact about Trump. The Times of India description says Trump had remarked, “Nice reception,” shortly beforehand; that wording is attributed to the page description, not independently established here from the original clip.

What can be watched or verified?
The title refers to footage of the interruption, but the reports cited here do not provide a verified clip to embed or establish the complete audio. The wording should therefore be attributed to the reporting and video description rather than presented as an independently authenticated transcription.
A transcript of Trump’s remarks published by Roll Call through Factba.se gives context for his short speech, but it does not establish the heckle’s exact words. Reports describe a mixed, lively atmosphere rather than a uniform response. The Associated Press reported a boisterous first tee, with flag-waving spectators and music, and said Trump received a loud cheer. NBC Chicago reported “USA” chants during his short speech and said protesters and supporters gathered around the tournament. Those accounts provide crowd context; neither identifies the heckler.
