Punjab Police said they arrested four people in Gurdaspur and recovered seven pistols and eight magazines during an alleged inter-state arms-smuggling investigation. The account, reported by Hindustan Times on October 1, 2026, describes preliminary police allegations; it does not establish guilt or report a court finding.
What happened in the Gurdaspur arms racket bust?
According to the Hindustan Times report, officers acted on specific intelligence that the suspects had retrieved a weapons consignment and were travelling to deliver it.
