Bootstrap Footer V16 is a code template for a website footer, not a complete website. Colorlib describes it as a free, dark, mobile-ready footer with a newsletter section. Its preview shows four link groups, but the preview does not establish that the newsletter form works or that the layout has been tested for accessibility or across devices.
What the Bootstrap Footer V16 preview includes
The linked preview is labeled “Footer #06.” It displays a newsletter area headed “Subscribe to our Newsletter” above four groups of footer links: Colorlib, Information, Application, and API. This is a starting-point layout, not evidence that those labels or functions suit your site. Before adapting it, check that the columns match your information architecture, connect the newsletter form to a working email service if you intend to collect subscriptions, and confirm that the code and styles are compatible with your project’s Bootstrap version.

Is Bootstrap Footer V16 free, and what license does it use?
Colorlib’s listing calls the template free and states “CC BY 3.0” as its license. Check the license terms on the Bootstrap Footer V16 listing before reuse, including any attribution requirements; the listing alone does not explain how the terms apply to your specific use.

Is the template still available to download?
The listing provides Download and Preview links. Its download flow asks for an email address and marketing consent to send a free download link. The linked download endpoint returned a 404 when checked, so current file availability is unconfirmed. Do not assume that the template can be downloaded successfully just because the listing still displays a Download link.
Why do the listing dates differ?
The Colorlib listing is dated February 10, 2021, while its template details separately display “Released: 2025.” The page does not explain the discrepancy, so these should be treated as separate dates rather than reconciled into a single release date.

What “dark” and “mobile-ready” mean here
Colorlib describes the design as dark and its structure as mobile-ready. Those are descriptions on the listing, not results from documented testing. The preview is useful for seeing the displayed appearance and content arrangement, but it does not establish responsive behavior at particular screen sizes, accessibility, or working form functionality.
