In GTA Online’s October 2026 Ghosts Exposed event, photographing all 10 spirits earns the Ghosts Exposed Jacket. Rockstar’s announcement does not specify a cash or RP reward for the 2026 hunt, so older payout figures should not be treated as current.
What is the confirmed reward for the 2026 Ghosts Exposed event?
Rockstar’s October 1, 2026 announcement says: “Successfully photographing all 10 spirits will get you the Ghosts Exposed Jacket.” Rockstar’s announcement names the jacket as the completion reward; it does not state a 2026 cash or RP total.

Rockstar’s title-update notes also say Ghosts Exposed has been updated with new locations and rewards. That means routes and reward details from earlier events may not match the current hunt. Read the October 1, 2026 title update notes for the update context.
How did the rewards differ in earlier years?
| Event year | Reward Rockstar announced | Cash and RP information |
|---|---|---|
| 2023 | Ghosts Exposed Livery for the Albany Brigham. | Not stated in Rockstar’s announcement. |
| 2024 | Ghosts Exposed Outfit, plus the Albany Brigham livery for players who missed it in 2023. | A 2024 guide reported $20,000 and 500 RP per ghost, plus $50,000 for completing all 10: up to $250,000 and 5,000 RP total. |
| 2026 | Ghosts Exposed Jacket. | Not stated in Rockstar’s October 1 announcement. |
Rockstar’s 2023 announcement promoted the Albany Brigham livery. Its 2024 announcement described the outfit and returning livery. The cash and RP figures above are from GTA BOOM’s 2024 ghost-location guide, not a confirmed 2026 payout.

- ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK — Feel every moment through the DualSense controller, from directional damage to weather effects, rough road surfaces to explosions, and more.
- TEMPEST 3D AUDIO — Hear the sounds of the world with pinpoint precision: the throttle of a stolen supercar, the rattle of neighbouring gunfire, the roar of a helicopter overhead, and more.
- Please note that although this game is Region Free or Region Unlocked and will work on all systems, this is the European version and may differ from the local version in age rating, labeling or instructions.
Should you expect the old cash and RP payout in 2026?
No. The $250,000 and 5,000 RP total is a guide’s reported figure for the 2024 hunt. Rockstar’s current announcement confirms the jacket but does not confirm those amounts for 2026. Likewise, Rockstar’s 2X GTA$ and RP promotion for Ghosts Exposed was announced for 2024 through October 16 of that year; it is not evidence of a 2026 bonus.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Do the 2024 ghost-hunt mechanics still apply?
A 2024 guide described one-hour in-game appearance windows, alternate nearby spawn points, phone-camera photos, and a tenth ghost appearing after the other nine. Those are historical mechanics, not confirmed instructions for the updated 2026 event. Check the current in-game event details and spawns rather than relying on an old route; the 2026 announcement and update notes do not establish a complete current spawn list or the identity and location of ghost number 10.
