Decrypt announced Money Accounts as live on Solana on October 8, 2026. The account is designed to let users access several Decrypt financial products from a single USDT balance, without personally managing SOL for network fees or bridging assets between chains, according to the company. Some functions and details remain forthcoming, so the announcement describes Decrypt’s product design and plans—not an independent technical assessment.
What are Decrypt Money Accounts?
Money Accounts are Decrypt’s account experience on Solana. Decrypt says users hold a USDT balance intended to fund Earn, Swaps, Predictions, and Perps through one account. Decrypt Takes and other features are described as coming later.
The idea is to put financial tools alongside the information people use to make decisions. Decrypt co-founder Ilan Hazan said: “Our goal is simple: one account, one balance, and access to every financial instrument, directly from where you already consume information.” That is a product vision, and the October 8 announcement describes a staged rollout rather than every instrument being available at launch.
Do you need a separate wallet or SOL?
Decrypt says existing Myriad Wallet users can use Money Accounts immediately: their existing wallet becomes the new account, with no migration required. The announcement does not establish eligibility or setup for every other user.

Decrypt says it sponsors gas and rent through fee-payer co-signing, so users do not need to hold SOL for those network costs. That does not mean the account has no fees of any kind; the announcement does not provide a detailed fee schedule.
How custody and key access are described
Decrypt calls Money Accounts self-custodial and says it does not hold users’ private keys or transact on their behalf. Private-key export was described as a future feature, not something available when the account was announced. The company announcement does not provide detailed custody implementation, recovery options, or an independent audit, so its custody description should be understood as Decrypt’s claim rather than an independently verified assessment.

How cross-chain access is supposed to work
Decrypt says cross-chain activity is handled underneath the account. Its example is Myriad Predictions markets that settle on BNB Chain: a user can trade from the same Solana USDT balance without personally bridging funds or using a second network. The announcement does not explain the bridge, settlement, or other technical architecture behind that experience.

Hazan also said users would be able to manage positions “without worrying about wallets, bridges or chains,” and that Decrypt was working with leading protocols, with partners to be announced in the coming weeks. These are roadmap statements; the announcement does not name the partners or establish which integrations are available at launch.

What The Information Exchange means
Decrypt presents Money Accounts as infrastructure for The Information Exchange, a broader concept that brings reporting, data, prices, and probabilities together with financial instruments. In the company’s description, Decrypt is the information layer, Myriad connects information to action, and the upcoming MYR token is intended to serve as an economic coordination layer on Solana. The announcement does not give a detailed MYR launch schedule, and these roles should be read as a staged product vision rather than a list of fully launched capabilities.

Decrypt’s October 8, 2026 announcement does not enumerate deposit methods beyond saying users can deposit using “virtually any payment method.” It also does not specify geographic restrictions, account eligibility, detailed fees, supported recovery options, or the custody implementation. Check current product documentation for those details before deciding whether the account fits your needs.
