Decagon’s OpenAI Marketplace listing gives eligible enterprise customers a new way to discover its customer-service AI agents and potentially apply part of an existing OpenAI commitment toward a qualifying purchase. It is not an automatic discount or a marketplace checkout: during the initial rollout, customers confirm eligibility with OpenAI and Decagon, then contract with and pay Decagon directly.

What Decagon’s launch-partner role means

Decagon announced on October 2, 2026, that it was a launch partner for OpenAI’s B2B Marketplace. OpenAI’s September 29 DevDay recap also named Decagon among the first partners in a group of 32. OpenAI’s current directory lists Decagon. The Marketplace is a discovery and procurement route for eligible enterprise customers—not a guarantee that every customer or Decagon product qualifies.

OpenAI describes the commitment rule this way: “Eligibility is specific to the customer, product, and purchase.” The amount that may be applied depends on the applicable agreement, program terms, and purchase; the sources do not establish a standard credit or savings figure. OpenAI’s DevDay 2026 recap describes the initial partner group, while the OpenAI Marketplace directory lists participating products and its FAQ.

How the initial purchase process works

  1. Check eligibility. OpenAI and Decagon confirm whether the specific customer, product, and purchase qualify under the applicable terms.
  2. Agree to the purchase with Decagon. The customer contracts directly with Decagon; the initial Marketplace flow does not provide a self-service checkout.
  3. Pay Decagon and reconcile the eligible amount. Decagon invoices the customer, and OpenAI records the qualifying amount against the customer’s OpenAI commitment.

OpenAI’s Help Center states: “It does not include self-service checkout.” Its enterprise Marketplace purchasing and eligibility documentation explains the initial process. Treat the commitment application as conditional, not as a universal discount, automatic credit, or payment made to OpenAI for Decagon’s services.

What Decagon offers—and what buyers should verify

OpenAI’s directory describes Decagon as building “AI agents that resolve customer issues end to end, not deflect.” Decagon says its Agent Operating Procedures (AOPs) enable it to go live in weeks, and that its model constellation combines OpenAI models with specialized models post-trained by Decagon Labs for customer experience. These are Decagon’s product descriptions, not independently established deployment or performance results. Decagon’s Marketplace announcement provides its account of the partnership and product.

Decagon also states that it has SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA compliance, configurable personally identifiable information (PII) redaction, and layered guardrails before, during, and after conversations. These statements are attributable to Decagon; the cited announcement does not independently verify the underlying controls or certifications. Buyers should validate the documentation and controls relevant to their own data, deployment, and regulatory requirements.

What is—and is not—public about timing and price

Decagon’s October 2 announcement said its listing would go live “soon” and that deployment options, pricing, and details on applying an OpenAI commitment toward Decagon would accompany it. The announcement gives neither an exact listing date nor a price. OpenAI’s current Marketplace directory now lists Decagon, but that listing does not itself establish a particular customer’s eligibility, final pricing, or deployment terms.

How to assess Decagon for your organization

Marketplace presence can simplify discovery, but it does not replace product evaluation or procurement diligence. Before proceeding, ask OpenAI and Decagon to confirm the exact eligible product and purchase, and compare the commercial and technical terms that matter to your use case.

  • Customer-service fit: Identify the customer problems and interaction channels the proposed agents will handle, and determine how unresolved or sensitive cases reach staff.
  • Eligibility: Obtain confirmation that your organization, the specific Decagon product, and the proposed purchase qualify for commitment application, and clarify the amount and applicable terms.
  • Implementation: Request the deployment plan, prerequisites, integrations, and responsibilities. Treat Decagon’s “weeks” timeline as its claim, not a guaranteed schedule.
  • Security and privacy: Review evidence for the controls, certifications, data handling, and redaction configuration that your organization requires.
  • Commercial terms: Confirm pricing, contract scope, invoicing, and total cost directly with Decagon; the Marketplace announcement does not publish a price.

OpenAI’s Marketplace includes other customer-experience providers, including Adobe, HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Sierra. The available Marketplace sources do not provide like-for-like product or pricing comparisons, so buyers should assess each candidate against the same requirements rather than infer equivalence from directory placement.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
