The Westinghouse WWW9024M5WA is a front-loading washer-dryer combo with a 9kg wash capacity and a 5kg drying capacity. Its single-appliance design, 15 wash programs and 1200 rpm spin make it a space-conscious option, but the smaller dryer capacity means you cannot dry a full 9kg wash in one matching load. Westinghouse’s published ratings also differ between washing and drying, and available customer comments give mixed impressions of drying results.

How much can it wash and dry?
The key trade-off is the capacity difference: it can wash up to 9kg but is rated to dry 5kg. Andoo’s retailer representative says a combination wash-then-dry run is limited to a half load. In practice, a larger wash may need to be split before drying, or dried in separate runs. That reduces the convenience of starting one full load and leaving it to finish without intervention.
Choose this format based on the amount you typically need to dry, not just the washer’s 9kg headline capacity. If you regularly wash large loads and want to dry the whole load at once, compare the 5kg dryer limit with your normal laundry needs before buying.

How well does it dry, and how long does drying take?
The available customer comments are mixed and do not amount to a controlled performance test. One Andoo reviewer, posting in October 2025, praised the quiet operation and short wash options but said drying took much longer than a conventional dryer and clothes still did not feel dry. Other excerpts posted in 2026 describe the machine as easy to use, quiet or convenient; some were written after very recent ownership.

Will it fit in your laundry?
The published cabinet dimensions are 850 mm high, 600 mm wide and 660 mm deep. Andoo recommends allowing another 150 mm of depth for hoses and connections, and notes that dimensions may not include the door or control panel. Measure the installation space and check the manual for required clearances, including space for the door to open, before arranging delivery.

ProductReview.com.au displayed one review for the WWW9024M5 family. The reviewer reported two failures within two years, involving a panel/water-level sensor and an internal drain hose. That is one person’s account, not enough evidence to estimate the model’s failure rate or expected lifespan. The sources do not provide an independent durability assessment.
Who should consider the WWW9024M5WA?
- Consider it if fitting washing and drying into one appliance is important and your usual drying loads are within the 5kg limit.
- Think carefully if you want to dry a full 9kg wash in one go, depend on fast drying, or need a clear expectation of real-world energy use or reliability.
