The Westinghouse WVEP6918DD is a 60 cm built-in electric oven with 72 L of usable capacity, 19 listed functions, Roast + Steam, two-level AirFry and pyrolytic cleaning. Its specifications make it a feature-rich option to assess, but the public evidence available does not establish how consistently it bakes, roasts or air-fries in practice. Here’s what the model offers, what its features mean, and what to check before buying.
What is the Westinghouse WVEP6918DD?
The WVEP6918DD is a single electric, multi-function wall oven finished in dark stainless steel. Westinghouse lists a TFT touchscreen, 19 cooking and cleaning functions, Roast + Steam, AirFry on two levels and PyroClean. The model is built in Adelaide, according to the manufacturer.
The 19 listed functions are traditional bake, roast, pizza, grill, fan grill, defrost, maxi grill, base heat, AirFry, PyroClean, fan-assist bake, EasyBake + Steam, Steam Reheat, rapid heat, keep warm, slow cook, fan-forced cooking, dough proving and SteamRoast. A function list describes available modes; it does not show how well the oven performs against competing models.
Capacity and dimensions
Westinghouse specifies 80 L gross capacity and 72 L usable capacity. The external dimensions are 597 mm high × 596 mm wide × 573 mm deep. Use the usable figure when comparing the space available for cooking, and confirm the installation dimensions against the oven’s current manual.

Cabinet cut-out and installation
The manufacturer’s dimensions guide gives different cut-outs for flush and proud installation:

These are the cut-out dimensions in Westinghouse’s fact sheet, which is a dimensions guide rather than a complete installation manual. The oven is hardwired; the listed connected load is 3.1 kW and maximum current is 12.9 A. Check the current manual and site conditions, and have installation requirements confirmed by a suitably qualified installer.

What do Roast + Steam and AirFry do?
Roast + Steam
Westinghouse says steam is used to help crisp a roast while keeping meat tender. The model also lists EasyBake + Steam and Steam Reheat. These descriptions explain the intended functions, not independently verified cooking results; the public information does not establish how much difference they make to food or whether results are consistent.
Two-level AirFry
The manufacturer describes the included double AirFry tray as using heat from above and below and lists AirFry for two levels. The package listing includes AirFry trays, so they are not presented as a separate required purchase. The available public material does not provide comparative AirFry test results, cooking times or evidence about how evenly food cooks across both levels.

How does PyroClean work?
Westinghouse describes PyroClean as a high-heat cycle that turns residue into ash for wiping away afterward. The fact sheet lists light-, medium- and heavy-soil cycles. This is a self-cleaning aid, not evidence that every kind of residue disappears or that the oven needs no manual cleaning. The public specifications do not quantify cleaning effort or cycle duration.
Interior, controls and included accessories
The manufacturer lists four layers of door glass, a cool-door safety feature, removable door and inner glass panes, a fold-down grill element and five shelf positions. Two telescopic runners are specified. These features may matter for access, cleaning and shelf flexibility, but published specifications alone do not establish touchscreen usability, operating noise or day-to-day convenience.

As a result, there is not enough publicly accessible evidence to make a confident independent verdict on baking consistency, roasting, AirFry performance, cleaning effort, noise, touchscreen usability or reliability. Manufacturer feature descriptions and specifications should not be mistaken for comparative test findings.
Warranty and what to compare before buying
Westinghouse’s fact sheet lists a two-year domestic warranty and says its stated application is for normal domestic use in Australia and New Zealand, subject to the accompanying warranty-card conditions. Check the current warranty terms for the market and seller where you plan to buy.
