Its nominal width is 590 mm, but the listed benchtop cutout is 560 mm wide by 490 mm deep. A “60 cm” label alone is not enough to establish fit: measure the actual opening and compare it with the appliance dimensions and installation requirements in the complete manual.

Westinghouse describes the dimension guide as a guide, not a substitute for the complete manual. Check clearances and other installation conditions there, and do not cut or alter cabinetry based only on the headline dimensions. What the WHI645BE features do
Bridge Zone
The two left-side zones can be used separately or linked, according to Westinghouse, to accommodate larger cookware. This is useful only if the pan’s footprint suits the linked area; the feature description does not establish how evenly any particular pan will heat.

PowerBoost is described as rapidly heating a pot or pan; the listed 3,200 W boost figure applies to the left-front zone.

Pause, keep warm and safety functions
The manufacturer lists Pause, keep warm, a residual-heat warning and a child safety device. Its Pause description says operating zones drop to their lowest setting and return to their previous settings when resumed. The product page also lists a programmable timer up to 99 minutes. Plan for a hardwired appliance
The manufacturer lists a 7.35 kW connected load and hardwired connection, with a maximum current rating of 32 A. Appliances Online says the model must be hardwired by a qualified electrician. These specifications do not establish whether a particular home’s wiring or circuit is suitable; arrange a site-specific assessment before installation.

Check your pans before replacing them
