What is the Westinghouse WHC943BC?
It is a built-in electric ceramic cooktop with a black ceramic-glass surface and four cooking zones. These are the manufacturer’s stated product and cut-out measurements. They do not establish that the cooktop will fit every bench: installation clearances, the existing opening and the benchtop’s suitability also matter. Does the WHC943BC need to be hardwired?
Appliances Online lists a 6.5 kW connected load, a maximum current of 27 A and a hardwired connection requiring a qualified electrician.
