Techloy reported $110.4 million in disclosed Latin American startup funding for the week ending October 2, 2026. The roundup’s largest listed deal was a $110 million equity financing for Jeeves, led by CoinFund. Chilean retail-AI startup Alteria also received an angel investment, but its amount was not disclosed. The $110.4 million figure is Techloy’s weekly tally, not a complete census of regional funding.

How much did Latin American startups raise in Week 40?

Techloy’s October 2 roundup put disclosed startup funding at $110.4 million for the week. Its two listed deals were a $110 million Jeeves equity round and an undisclosed angel investment in Alteria. Because Techloy did not state Alteria’s investment amount, the disclosed deal details do not allow readers to independently reconstruct the weekly total. The figure should be read as the roundup’s tally, not as proof that it captured every funding event in Latin America.

Techloy’s report is available at Techloy.

Jeeves raised $110 million in an equity financing

Jeeves announced the financing on September 29, 2026. The company described it as a $110 million equity round; lead investor CoinFund called it a $110 million C1 equity financing and said it led the round. Neither announcement states Jeeves’s valuation for this financing.

Jeeves and CoinFund named AllianceBernstein, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, CRV, GIC, Global PayTech Ventures, ParaFi, Vista, Wintermute, and Y Combinator among the participating investors. The company’s announcement is distributed through PR Newswire; CoinFund’s account is on its website.

What the company says Jeeves offers

Jeeves describes its platform as combining corporate cards, accounts payable, treasury payments, spend management, and financial automation for businesses operating across markets. Its announcement says a new proprietary stablecoin wallet supports payouts to 190 countries. That is a company-stated product reach, not an independent audit of payment availability in each country.

The same September 29 release says Jeeves is expanding stablecoin card availability from 25 to 35 countries. It lists Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay among the additions. These are announcement-date availability claims; coverage can change, so businesses should confirm eligibility and service in their market directly with Jeeves.

How to read the operating figures and investor rationale

Jeeves reported more than $5 billion in annualized total platform volume and $1.5 billion in annualized stablecoin-settled activity in its financing announcement. These are company-reported operating metrics, not audited financial results. CoinFund also cites platform and stablecoin-volume figures; those should likewise be treated as investor-reported claims rather than independent measurements.

CoinFund Managing Partner and Head of Venture Investments David Pakman framed the investment around Jeeves’s distribution among companies operating across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. That is the lead investor’s explanation for backing the round, not an independent assessment of market adoption.

Alteria received an angel investment of undisclosed size

Techloy reported that Chilean retail-technology startup Alteria secured an angel investment at a $3 million valuation. The investment amount itself was not disclosed, so it cannot be compared with Jeeves’s $110 million financing by deal size.

According to Techloy, Alteria’s AI assistant gives retail staff and customers product information such as technical specifications, prices, compatibility, and store-level stock. The roundup says the company has around 10 clients across more than 100 stores, mainly in hardware, technology, and cosmetics. It also reports that Alteria plans to focus on Chile before potentially expanding into Peru, Colombia, and Mexico, and is targeting $1 million in annual recurring revenue by mid-2027. These customer, expansion, and revenue-target details are Techloy-reported, not independently verified figures.

Why the $500 million Jeeves valuation is not current

Jeeves announced a $57 million Series B at a $500 million valuation in September 2021, with CRV leading. That valuation belongs to the 2021 financing; the 2026 announcements do not give a new valuation. The older round is described in the company’s September 2021 release. It should not be used to estimate Jeeves’s present value or the terms of its new financing.

What this weekly funding list can—and cannot—show

The Week 40 roundup identifies two deals and reports a total, but it is not a standardized regional funding dataset. One weekly tally cannot establish a broader trend in Latin American startup investment, and the disclosed information is insufficient to rank Alteria against Jeeves by amount. For this week, the clearest distinction is between Jeeves’s disclosed $110 million equity financing and Alteria’s angel investment, whose amount remains undisclosed in Techloy’s report.
