Neither WebHostingPad nor GoDaddy is a clear winner for every buyer. Choose by comparing the full first-term commitment and renewal price in your market, site and storage limits, WordPress tools, backup responsibilities, and support scope—not by headline monthly rates alone. The GoDaddy prices discussed below are from an Ireland/euro-market page and apply to the first one-year term; they are not U.S. prices or renewal rates.

How to choose between WebHostingPad and GoDaddy

Start with your country and the exact plan you need. Then compare the checkout total for the whole billing term, the renewal amount, any add-ons, how many sites you can host, and what happens if you need to restore a site. The plan details available here support a feature and contract comparison, but not a performance ranking: there are no independent speed or uptime test results for these providers in the sources cited.

  • For WordPress convenience: GoDaddy’s surfaced WordPress Basic plan lists preinstallation, automatic core updates, and a migration tool. WebHostingPad advertises one-click WordPress installation and transfers.
  • For backups: GoDaddy advertises daily backups; WebHostingPad’s terms place external backup responsibility on the customer and list recovery fees in specified cases.
  • For multiple sites: GoDaddy lists site limits by plan. WebHostingPad advertises unlimited domains or sites on its WordPress page, but that is a provider claim; check the resource terms for the plan you select.
  • For price: Compare like-for-like terms and renewal prices at checkout. WebHostingPad’s Power Plan support page has conflicting regular-rate tables, while GoDaddy’s cited prices are euro-denominated first-term offers.

What the published plans and prices show

WebHostingPad pricing

WebHostingPad’s support page lists Power Plan monthly-equivalent rates by billing term. The first table shows introductory and regular rates of $3.99/$6.65 for one year, $2.99/$6.24 for two years, $2.29/$5.82 for three years, $1.99/$5.40 for four years, and $1.99/$4.82 for five years. Accounts using cPanel add $1 per month. A second table on the same page gives different regular rates—$6.49, $5.99, $5.49, and $4.49 for the listed terms—so confirm the intended term and account configuration in checkout rather than assuming either table is definitive. The same support page lists WordPress tiers with one-, two-, and three-year introductory/regular monthly equivalents:

Plan 1 year 2 years 3 years
WordPress Basic $4.99 / $7.99 $3.99 / $6.99 $2.99 / $5.99
Pro $5.99 / $8.99 $4.99 / $7.99 $3.99 / $6.99
Premium $7.99 / $9.99 $6.99 / $8.99 $5.99 / $7.99

These are monthly equivalents tied to longer commitments, not the total amount due for the term. WebHostingPad’s separate WordPress product page advertises starting prices of $2.99 per month for Basic, $3.99 for Pro, and $5.99 for Premium; treat those as advertised starting prices, not guaranteed checkout prices for every market or configuration. WebHostingPad WordPress hosting.

WebHostingPad says shared plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee, with exclusions including renewals, add-ons, SSL, transfer fees, domain charges, service fees, and accounts that violate its terms. It also advertises a one-year domain registration with a new hosting account, capped at $16.99; the domain renews at the regular registrar rate. Check the current terms for your order. GoDaddy pricing in the cited market

The GoDaddy page available for this comparison displayed Ireland/euro-market first-year prices. Each amount below is per month for the first one-year term, not a renewal rate. The page does not establish what a buyer in another country will pay.

WordPress features and site capacity

GoDaddy

The cited WordPress Basic plan lists managed WordPress controls, preinstallation, automatic core updates, a migration tool, security, and a CDN performance claim. GoDaddy also advertises unmetered bandwidth on the surfaced hosting page. Its “up to 2x faster” statement is a marketing claim, not an independently verified result in this comparison. The listed GoDaddy site limits vary substantially by plan, from one site on Economy and WordPress Basic to 10 on Deluxe and 25 on Ultimate. GoDaddy web hosting plans.

WebHostingPad

WebHostingPad’s WordPress page advertises free SSL, one-click WordPress installation, email, malware scans and quarantine, free WordPress transfers, and higher computing resources on upgraded tiers. It also advertises unlimited domains or sites. These are provider-described inclusions; check the plan’s resource and usage terms to determine whether they fit your workload. WebHostingPad WordPress hosting.

Backups, recovery, and support

GoDaddy’s surfaced hosting page advertises daily backups, but the page alone does not establish the retention period or every plan’s restore process. Verify those details for the specific regional plan before treating the feature as your only recovery copy. GoDaddy web hosting plans.

WebHostingPad’s terms explicitly make customers responsible for keeping backups on their own external storage, using their own methods and programs. The terms also list fees for restoration or file recovery in specified circumstances. If you choose WebHostingPad, maintain a separate backup and confirm the applicable recovery charge before relying on provider assistance. WebHostingPad Terms of Service.

WebHostingPad advertises priority support on its WordPress tiers. GoDaddy’s hosting agreement says support beyond the included scope may be available as a paid Expert Service. Confirm what support covers, and whether it is available in your region, before purchase. GoDaddy hosting agreement.

What uptime guarantees do—and do not—tell you

Both providers publish 99.9% uptime guarantees, but these are contractual claims, not evidence of measured uptime. GoDaddy’s hosting agreement excludes certain events from its guarantee, including scheduled maintenance, customer code or third-party applications, some access outages, circumstances beyond its control, and certain programming-environment reliability issues. Read the current contract for the applicable remedy and exclusions. GoDaddy hosting agreement.

WebHostingPad also advertises a 99.9% guarantee subject to its terms. Neither guarantee establishes how either service performed during a particular period, and the cited material does not include independent monitoring or benchmarks. WebHostingPad Terms of Service.

Which host should you choose?

  • Consider GoDaddy if the site limit and storage on a suitable plan fit your needs and you value the listed managed WordPress controls, migration tool, and advertised daily backups. Confirm local pricing, renewal rates, and backup retention before committing.
  • Consider WebHostingPad if its WordPress inclusions and advertised site capacity suit your setup, and you are prepared to manage external backups. Resolve the conflicting Power Plan regular-rate figures and confirm the complete checkout amount first.
  • Choose neither on a performance claim alone. The cited provider pages do not provide independent comparative speed, uptime, or support-response results.

Before paying, compare the full term total, renewal amount, currency, site and storage limits, add-ons, backup retention and restore process, support scope, and the contract’s guarantee exclusions. Use the live checkout and terms for your own country; the figures above are not a substitute for them.
