Watch Dogs 2 has 15 commonly listed base-game Main Operations if you count both Introduction and Hello World as separate entries. Another guide also lists 15 operations but begins with Hello World, so the difference is how the opening is counted. Operations can contain several parts, and downloadable content adds separate stories that should not be folded into the base-game total.
How many main missions are in Watch Dogs 2?
The most useful short answer is 15 base-game Main Operations, using the list that counts Introduction and Hello World separately. Twinfinite presents that 15-entry list, with Introduction first. Twinfinite’s mission-count guide also distinguishes the main story from side operations.

Prima Games lists 15 named Main Operations as well, but its sequence starts with Hello World rather than a separate Introduction entry. Its count therefore uses a different opening-entry convention, not a larger or smaller campaign. Prima Games’ DedSec App guide provides the named list and explains how operations are organized.

What is the listed main-operation order?
Prima Games’ guide lists the base-game Main Operations in this sequence. Treat it as a guide-listed order, not proof that every player sees each operation unlock in one strictly linear path.

Why can mission counts look different?
Introduction and Hello World may be counted differently
Twinfinite counts Introduction and Hello World as separate entries. Prima Games begins its named-operation list with Hello World. When comparing totals, check whether the opening Introduction is included as its own entry.
An operation is not the same as a mission part
Operations can have multiple parts. Prima Games’ contents list, for example, gives Cyberdriver four parts, False Profits five, and HAUM Sweet HAUM six. Those are parts within operations, not additional Main Operations. The campaign’s operation count and its individual mission-segment count are different measures.

Main, Side, and Online are separate categories
The in-game DedSec app tracks three operation types: Main missions are mandatory story content, Side missions are optional, and Online operations are co-op. A total that combines these categories is not the base-game Main Operations count.
Why are several main operations available at once?
Seeing multiple story options in the DedSec app can be normal. The app lists operations that are currently available and tracks their parts and progress; new operations can appear as you gain followers or complete other operations. The list is therefore a tracker of unlocked choices, not necessarily a single next-mission queue. The game’s operation categories and unlock behavior are described in Prima Games’ DedSec App guide.

If you have finished a mission such as the Nudle operation and see multiple options, use the DedSec app to check each operation’s status and parts. Choose among the unlocked Main Operations rather than assuming the first item shown is the only valid next step.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Do the DLC stories count toward the 15?
No. Keep add-on content separate from the base-game count unless you explicitly give a combined total and explain what it includes. Ubisoft says the Human Conditions pack adds three World Stories and lists its release date as 23 March 2017; it also includes new Elite Co-op Missions and an Anti-Hacker enemy archetype. See Ubisoft’s Human Conditions page.

Ubisoft Help names the three stories as Caustic Progress, Bad Medicine, and Automata. The page gives these unlock requirements:
- Caustic Progress: unlocks after Hacker Wars.
- Bad Medicine: unlocks after W4Tched, Eye for an Eye, and Hacker Wars.
- Automata: unlocks after Limp Nudle.
These missions are accessed through the DedSec app, according to Ubisoft Help’s Human Conditions content guide. They are DLC World Stories, not entries in the base-game Main Operations list. Other add-on content, including No Compromise, a T-Bone Content Bundle, and a Season Pass, is also listed on Ubisoft’s product page; those labels do not change what a base-game-only count means.
