It has not been verified that anyone pitched a Grand Theft Auto VI mission involving a pet tiger. The reporting reviewed for this claim identifies neither the person who supposedly made the pitch nor an original interview, document, or other source establishing it. That means the pitch should be treated as an unconfirmed claim—not as a confirmed detail about GTA 6.
What is known about the pet tiger claim?
No reviewed source directly substantiates the claim that a pet tiger mission was pitched for GTA 6. No pitcher, context for the alleged pitch, or primary source has been identified. The available information therefore cannot establish whether the pitch happened; it also does not prove that it never happened.

Why attribution matters
Claims about a game can come from different kinds of material: a developer speaking on the record, a journalist describing an interview, or an unsupported rumor. MapHeist’s discussion of a Dazed feature with named Rockstar staff draws attention to the distinction between direct statements and a journalist’s descriptions. That distinction is useful when judging what an interview actually confirms, but MapHeist does not verify a tiger mission pitch. MapHeist’s analysis

A separate Rockstar quote does not confirm a tiger mission
GamesRadar+ reported on a LOVE Magazine interview with Rupert Humphries, identified as Rockstar’s senior vice president of narrative. Speaking about Jason’s backstory, Humphries said, “We didn’t want to make any kind of statement with Jason’s backstory.” The comment concerns Jason’s characterization; it says nothing about a pet tiger or a proposed mission.
