To unlock the reported Crimson Crawler camo Easter egg in Warzone’s Haunted Hollow, find the glowing sword at one of three possible locations: Mansion, Lumbermill, or the Riverboat. Carry it to the Floating Ruins, place it on the podium, then eliminate zombies near the gateway until the ritual finishes.
Where to find the sword in Haunted Hollow
Walkthroughs report that only one of these locations normally contains the sword in a match. Check the areas in whichever order best fits your landing route or your squad’s coverage; the guides do not establish a universally fastest route.
- Mansion: Look at the top of the glowing light beam inside the building.
- Lumbermill: Search the Furnace in the burning Lumbermill.
- Riverboat: Check the Slot Machine aboard the Riverboat.
The sword locations are reported by TimeSaver.gg and Boosting Factory; Activision’s official seasonal notes establish the map changes but do not list these exact spawns.
How to complete the sword ritual
- Pick up the sword. Search the three locations above until you find it, then carry it to the Floating Ruins.
- Reach the Floating Ruins. The ruins are elevated near the drained Pond. Use the Jump Pad below them to get onto the platform.
- Place the sword. Interact with the podium at the ruins to set the sword in place and start the ritual.
- Charge the gateway. Eliminate the zombies around the gateway until its charge completes. The walkthroughs report that the Crimson Crawler camo unlocks when the ritual finishes.
What is Haunted Hollow?
Haunted Hollow is the Halloween-themed Season 06 transformation of Haven’s Hollow, the small-town Resurgence map. Activision’s September 8, 2026 Season 06 announcement says the season launched September 17, 2026. The Season 06 Warzone patch notes describe the River Boat, burning Lumbermill, Mansion gravity vortex, Ghost Train, and Trick or Treat pumpkins as part of the altered map.

Availability and patch caveats
The exact sword spawns, ritual steps, and camo reward come from walkthrough reporting rather than Activision’s official notes, so the event’s behavior could change with a patch. Boosting Factory reports that the Floating Island event was temporarily disabled after launch and fixed in the September 24 patch notes. For current status, check the official Warzone Season 06 patch notes and the live playlist.
Activision’s announcement and patch notes do not state an end date for Haunted Hollow or promise that it will remain permanently available. The live playlist is the best way to confirm whether the map is currently playable.
