The nine-calendar-day gap is calculated from the two announced dates. Warhammer Community announced the date and demo on October 6, 2026, while Rockstar’s official page lists November 19 for GTA VI.
What kind of game is Warhammer Survivors?
Developed and published by Auroch Digital, Warhammer Survivors is a single-player roguelite action game. Its arena combat centers on evolving weapons and escalating enemy hordes, drawing on both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Warhammer Community says the game has over 40 playable characters and more than 70 weapons.

Can you try Warhammer Survivors before launch?
An updated demo is available on Steam and Xbox for PC. Warhammer Community identifies two playable heroes: the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya. The official Steam listing identifies Auroch Digital as both developer and publisher and describes the game as single-player.
How much does Warhammer Survivors cost?
Auroch Digital lists launch prices of £6.39, $7.99, and €7.49. The developer notes that prices may vary slightly by platform and region, so check the relevant store listing for the amount charged in your country.

Is the release-date overlap deliberate competition?
The dates create an unusually close pairing: Warhammer Survivors arrives first, then GTA VI nine days later, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in common. That supports the playful “audacity” reaction, but it does not establish a deliberate challenge or counter-programming strategy. Auroch Digital designer Ellie Harrodine said in a PlayStation Blog announcement on October 6, 2026: “Today, we’re excited to announce that Warhammer Survivors launches on PS5 November 10.” The statement confirms the date, not why it was chosen.
