Steam Deck HQ reported on October 6, 2026, that Warhammer Survivors had received a Steam Deck Verified badge ahead of its planned November 10, 2026 release. The outlet says the game’s default controls and graphics work well on Deck, while noting that an external controller may need to be selected manually. Valve’s retrieved documentation does not provide the game’s individual review findings, so those compatibility details are attributable to Steam Deck HQ.
Does Warhammer Survivors work on Steam Deck?
According to Steam Deck HQ’s October 6, 2026 report, the game is Steam Deck Verified. That badge indicates a compatibility review found it suitable for the handheld under Steam’s criteria; it is not a published performance benchmark.
The report says the default controller and graphics configurations work well, controller icons are accurate, and in-game text is legible. It also notes a possible control wrinkle: an external controller may not be detected automatically, in which case the active controller may need to be changed through the Quick Access menu.
Steam’s Steam Deck Verified Landing Pages documentation explains that Steam automatically creates a special landing page for Verified games when the store page also has at least one trailer marked safe for all ages. That is a general Steam policy, not a game-specific compatibility breakdown.

What is Warhammer Survivors, and when does it launch?
Warhammer Community announced on October 6, 2026 that Warhammer Survivors is a roguelite action game drawing on both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Its announced release date is November 10, 2026.
The publisher announcement lists more than 40 playable characters and over 70 weapons. These are publisher-stated content counts, not independent measurements. The game is being developed and published by Auroch Digital in partnership with Warhammer and poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, according to the Steam store listing.

Which platforms are announced?
Warhammer Community lists these platforms for the game:
- PC via Steam and GOG
- Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- iOS and Android
The announced new demo is available on Steam and Xbox for PC, according to the same publisher announcement. The game is not limited to Steam Deck; players can choose among the announced platforms. Check the relevant store listing for current availability, since release details can change.

The available official Steam materials explain the general Verified program but do not expose Warhammer Survivors’ individual review record. The game-specific details above therefore reflect Steam Deck HQ’s report rather than a Valve-published breakdown. The sources also provide no measured frame rate, battery life, resolution, or comparative performance results, so the badge should not be read as proof of a particular performance level or flawless operation in every setup.
