VOID/BREAKER is scheduled to leave Early Access and launch in version 1.0 on November 4, 2026. The release brings the roguelite first-person shooter to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, alongside PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. Playstack has also announced Game Pass availability, though it has not named the eligible tier.
When does VOID/BREAKER come out?
VOID/BREAKER’s full 1.0 launch is set for November 4, 2026. The game first entered PC Early Access on August 20, 2025, according to Gematsu’s release-date report. Playstack confirmed the 1.0 date in an October 1, 2026 Steam Community announcement.

Which platforms will have VOID/BREAKER?
At launch, the announced platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. PC players can get it through Steam or Microsoft Store. Game Pass availability is also announced, but the publisher has not specified which subscription tier includes the game. The available information does not establish price parity between platforms.

What kind of game is VOID/BREAKER?
VOID/BREAKER is a roguelite first-person shooter and a solo project by Daniel Stubbington, who develops as Stubby Games; Playstack is the publisher. You fight machines controlled by a hostile AI while attempting to escape a repeating cycle. Its run-based structure combines fast movement and firefights with destructible environments, weapon modifications that can form synergies, and choices about which routes and encounters to take.
Those systems make each run a series of tactical trade-offs: how to move through a fight, which weapon effects to combine, and whether to take a chosen path or battle. The Steam listing describes the premise and mechanics.

Is there a demo, and do Early Access buyers get anything?
Playstack says a free demo is available on Steam and that progress transfers to the full game. In the same Steam announcement, the publisher says Early Access owners and people who buy the game before 1.0 will automatically receive the Supporter’s Pack. The Joe Ford soundtrack will be included in that pack and sold separately on Steam at 1.0.

PlayStation Blog says adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and gyro support are in development for the full launch. The PS5 demo discussed in the blog’s June 24, 2026 post did not yet include those features, so their final implementation should be checked close to release. The PlayStation Blog announcement describes the planned controller support.

What PC does VOID/BREAKER require?
The following are the requirements on Steam’s listing as checked October 3, 2026. They may change. Steam separately notes that its current client requires Windows 10 or later; that is a client requirement, not the game’s listed minimum operating system.

Steam listed the game at US$29.99 when checked on October 3, 2026. That is a dated US storefront price; regional prices may differ, and prices can change. The available sources do not establish prices for other platforms.
